Out of Closet (B&T time-travel romance), Ch. 48
“Well, that’s what they say…” they heard Dana coming up to the table, “Soft on the streets, tough in the sheets.”
“This is so original, honey,” Alice rolled her eyes, kissing her girlfriend and shutting her laptop. “The gang is here, my work is done.”
“So, when are Bette and Tina coming back?” Dana asked, ordering her lunch. “Anyone has heard from them?”
“Last I’ve heard they arrived to Chapel Hill safe and sound but slightly aroused since their Mile High Club rendezvous was interrupted by the turbulence. Since then they disappeared into obscurity and darkness of the land of mystery and scavenger hunting.”
“You know, Al…I always take anything that comes out of your mouth with a grain of salt,” Shane said, shaking her head and smiling.
“What? You don’t believe me? You don’t think Bette would tell me about her sexual adventures in the skies?”
“No…” all three of them answered in unison, making Alice laugh.
“Okay, you do know me well but they could have done it because Tina called this morning when they were on the way to her childhood house and she mentioned turbulence. I just drew my own conclusion. You all know they were doing it…” she winked at everybody and continued, “But that was the last time I heard from them. I hope they have found Bette’s stuff.”
“How’s the intervention going?” Dana asked curiously. She just barely came home from another intense training and was trying to catch up with all the latest events.
“I’m still working on it. By the way, Dane…do you think Tonya can spare you for longer than a week? I really miss you, baby and I would love to have you all to myself for awhile.”
“You’re just getting jealous and paranoid, thinking about Ton-Ton getting her claws into Dana,” Shane laughed.
“Can you blame me?” Alice shrugged her shoulders, “Dana spends weeks with the L.A. most obnoxious endorsement slut and you all know that weird things happen in those tennis camps,” she finished, hinting to Dana’s first lesbian experience.
Dana blushed and said softly, kissing the blonde on the lips, “Don’t be paranoid, Al. I told her from the beginning that I’m in a committed relationship and she respects that. Besides, she’s been dating Melissa Rivers the last I’ve heard…or was it Melissa’s mother? I don’t remember but it’s someone rich and famous so her claws are busy with somebody else.”

Well, damn. Tina just wasted yet another chance to be honest with Bette. I’ve got a feeling this is going to backfire. And how!

darn Tina needs to tell Bette soon, and I’m sure Bette would be ok once she realises that if not for Christina surviving, there would be no Tina!! A very interesting scavenger hunt going on here, I bet Alice wishes she was there!! Thanks and PPVS! =)

Unfinished business. Will they ever find the missing pieces to Bette’s past? Tina needs to come clean to Bette about Christina.
