Bette couldn’t wait to get to the resort, she needed the quiet. She didn’t really know what the show was about, Kit signed her up but now, she wanted the peace and quiet. She walked in a room. "Bette Porter!" Amanda said. "We’re so glad you decided to participate in Paradise hotel."
Bette looked at her for a second, she was sure Kit said big brother. She really didn’t know what Paradise hotel is but she remembered something about couples and rooms.
"Paradise hotel?" Bette asked scared.
"The women version" Amanda winked. "Go right ahead you’re our first guest!"
"I’m going to kill Kit" Bette mumbled going in the hotel she went straight to the bar taking a shot.
"Hello we can start having fun!" She heard from behind, turning around she saw a perky blonde.
"Didn’t know we have to wait" Bette dryly said drinking her shot.
"I’m Alice, how cool is this?"
"Bette and yes very cool." Bette said shaking Alice’s hand. "Do you know how many more should come?"
"Not a clue. The more the merrier." Alice smiled. Just then another woman came in, "Hi!" She smiled nervously. "I’m Dana"
"Bette" "Alice" They both introduced themselves. "Want something to drink?" Bette asked.
"Sure" Dana smiled.
"Hot" Alice smiled, "Look at us a bunch of hot women"
Bette rolled her eyes, "Here" She handed Dana a drink.
"Well hello darlings" They heard from behind them. "Missed me?"
"We need to know you to miss you" Bette said looking at the British woman.
"Helena" The woman smiled.
"Alice" "Dana."
"And you are?" Helena flirtingly said.
"Bette Porter" Bette smiled. Just then a cute blonde coming in, Bette smiled at her making the blonde blush.
"Hi. I’m Tina" The cute blonde said sitting down next to Bette, "And I have no idea why I’m here."
Bette poured her a shot. "I’ll drink to that" Bette said clicking their glasses. "Well we’re five, how many more are they?"
"Who knows" Tina said smiling. Bette looked at her smiling about to say something when Helena interrupted them. "Hi there" She smiled at Tina then at Bette who raised her eyebrow at her. "Having fun?"
"Sure" Tina smiled politely. "Oh look more people are coming"
"Hi guys I’m Jenny" A woman said smiling.
"And then they were six" Bette dryly said.
"Seven!" They heard, "My name is Cassie! And who are you?" She asked Helena.
Bette smiled at Tina again motioning at Cassie then making a face showing she thinks she’s crazy. Tina smiled agreeing.
"Ladies where is the booze?" A girl came in "Tracy" She smiled. Another one came in "Shane" She said smiling making half of the girls blush.
"Something tells me she will turn a lot of heads." Bette said looking as Shane worked the room.
"Yours included?" Tina asked.
"Me?" Bette asked looking at Shane then at Tina, "I think I’m immune" She winked. Just then Helena came again sitting between them, seeing as Bette wouldn’t talk to her she tried Tina who was nice enough to answer.
Bette notice a girl coming in the girl gave her a shy smile and took a bottle of water. Seeing as Tina and Helena were in deep conversation she got up and walked to the girl. "Bette"
"Karen" She smiled shaking her hand. "So we’re…" She started counting "Ten, one more."
"How do you know?" Bette asked.
"Five double rooms and one single." Karen smiled.
"Smart"
"Thank you." Karen smiled, "And here’s the final guest."
"Nice! Hello good looking! My name is Megan and I’m at your service."
Just then Amanda the host came. "Hello and welcome to Paradise! Have fun today, tonight you’re going to pair up!" She smiled, "You are welcome to the pool."
"Fun for all." Bette smiled.
"Pool, this will be fun"
"I still can’t believe I’m here" Bette said.
"Why are you here?" Karen asked.
"Peace" Bette said making Karen burst out laughing. "And you came here?"
"That’s my sister’s fault." She smiled. "You?"
"The money." Karen answered, "I’ll let you in on a little secret"
Bette leaned in, "I’m not gay." Karen whispered.
"Bi?" Bette asked. Karen shook her head no taking a sip of her beer. "Straight as a ruler."
"You do realize this is for lesbians." Bette smiled.
"I’m not planning on finding a wife, just want to get till the end. This way you take away the temptation. It’s flawless." Karen smiled.
"What if you need to flirt?" Bette asked, "To get ahead."
"I can flirt."
"Kiss?"
"Men, women, a kiss is a kiss" Karen shrugged.
"Nice plan" Bette smiled.
"I know" Karen winked.
"Are you two coming to the pool?" Tracy enthusiastically asked.
"We sure are!" Karen answered with fake enthusiasm. Then looked at Bette rolling her eyes, "Let’s change, don’t want people to think we’re antisocial."
"God forbid" Bette dryly said laughing as they went to change.
