Alice was always the person that Dana confided in. That routine changed when they began going out. Suddenly, Alice became one of the last people Dana wanted to confide infor certain things. For instance, she couldnt go to Alice for help on her fake celebrity girlfriend or advice on how to deal with her fiance. If Alice wasnt her fiance, shed be the first person Dana would go to. She knew eight in the morning was a bit early, but she had a feeling Tina would be awake. She lightly rapped her knuckles on the door so that if Tina was sleeping it wouldnt disturb her.

Tina came to the door, dressed in a robe and holding a cup of coffee. Oh, Dana. Come in.

If its a bad time-

Stop it. Its a great time. The coffees still hot, I can get you a cup.

Um, ok. Dana pulled out one of the kitchen chairs. Did you find that you and Bette didntumtalk as much?

Tina gently rubbed the younger womans back, I think I know what youre asking. Tina paused to collect her thoughts, Bette and I were never very good at communicating. Were much better now than when we were married.

I think most people when they are with someone tend to walk on eggshells, thinking everything they say is going to break the other person. Its not that easy to break a person, Dana.

But shes gonna kill me, Dana whined.

Tina was baffled to say the least, watching Dana nervously run her hands through her hair. Sometimes when it comes to Dana, its best to play along Tina thought, She wont kill you.

Please dont let her watch the Emmys tonight.
