    Carmen stops by. Bette has something for Helena. Alice doesn’t believe Tina. Jenny gets a phone call.

                Shane woke up by Shay jumping on her bed. She groaned loudly as he jumped up and down.

     

    “Shane, it’s time to get up! It’s time to get up!”

     

    “Five more minutes Shay,” Shane rolled over.

     

    “Noooo! Shane get up!” Shane opened her eyes and watched her little brother jump.

     

    “Alright, alright I’m up!” He smiled and continued to jump. “C’mere you!” She grabbed him, and he yelled. He started laughing as Shane tickled him.

     

    “Okay, uncle uncle!”  Shane stopped, and he took a breath.

     

    “You had enough?” He nodded. “Alright, c’mon lets make breakfast.”

     

    “Yay!” Shay got off the bed and ran out the room. Shane smiled and shook her head. She grabbed her sweats off the floor and slipped them on. She walked out of her bedroom and stretched her arms. She heard someone knocking on the door, and she yawned. She went to her door and answered it.

     

    “Hey,” she smiled softly.

     

    “Good morning, I’m surprised to see you up early.”

     

    “Well I have a kid in the house, he won’t let me sleep.” Shay came running towards Shane and saw who was at the door.

     

    “Carmen!”

     

    Hey Shay,” he wrapped his arms around her legs, and she smiled.

     

    “Shane can Carmen stay for breakfast?” He looked up at her.

     

    “Sure,” Shane moved out of the way and let Carmen into the house.

                Bette looked over the rough draft of the new perspective of the season. She took a deep breath and tipped her pen on her desk.

     

    “James!” James stopped in Bette’s doorway. “Do you know who the contractor is for this project?”

     

    “Umm—let me go check.” He walked away, and Bette took a drink of her coffee. Her phone rang and answered it.

     

    “Hello?”

     

    “Hey, how’s work going?”

     

    “Good, how did the rest of your night?”

     

    Helena laughed softly. “It went great. I’m rested.”

     

    Bette smiled. “So are you still looking for work?”

     

    “Yeah, I’m still looking.”

     

    “Would you like to come back to the CAC and be partners?”

     

    “A-are you serious?”

    3. Well, okay fine…Katherine redeemed herself albeit in a deliciously unprofessional way. Is this how she is with all her client…where’s the ‘sign up’ sheet? LMAO…Anyway, what does Shane want? Does she just want certainty that Carmen will love her for who she is? I’m all for non-monogamous Shane, when it’s what she wants. When it isn’t, then by all means put her on lock-down. Well, Tim is coming back to town, Jenny can’t get all that riled up. So far, everyone is teetering on the edge of insecurity and Bette is the only one getting laid. LOL. Sweet update!

    4. Uh oh, could Alice be right about why Tina wants to be back together w/ Bette? (I certainly hope not) Now I know I should be routing for Bette and Tina, but I find myself just wanting Bette to get hers. And by that I mean I’m loving Bette w/ katherine (as wrong as it for a therapist to sleep w/ her patient) sometimes it’s good to be bad. Also, I feel like the groundwork is being laid for a Bette and Helena hook up. Now of course i could just be reading into this what i want to see but a girl can dream can’t she…..Please post soon Akira!

    6. can we all be happy without making someone else miserable…well, yeah, but then it wouldn’t make for good drama…loved the update, post soon!

    7. Gasp! After what Shane did to Carmen, she’s lucky Carmen still gives her the time of day, let alone offers her friendship and the hope of rebuilding what they had albeit slowly. How can Shane treat her that way? I understand that Shane doesn’t want to wait anymore, but Carmen did say she wanted friendship just “for right now.” Later, who knows what can happen if Shane is just patient. Awesome update. I can’t wait to see where this story goes. . . I’m totally addicted.

    8. The return of Candace huh? Tina will flip out! This Katherine person is so unprofessional…but sexy. Bette seems to be going along with the program which says to me she already made her decision on whether to take Tina back. Keep posting please.
