“My water broke..” Tina says looking into her lovers eyes.

Bette’s facial expression drops and her eyes open wide with shock and surprise. “Like right..like right now? Like baby time??”

All Tina can do is nod her head.

Bette quickly races over to Tina grabbing her hands that get held with great force.

Bette grabs her phone from her purse and quickly dials their doctors number while leading Tina towards the door.

They burst through the doors and walk to the counter.

“We need a doctor my wife’s in labour.” Bette’s words race out to the young receptionist.

“Do you have a doctor?” She asks.

“Yes, It’s Dr. Wilson.”

“Right this way.” A nurse comes from behind us with a wheelchair.

“It’s a boy!” Dr. Wilson says holding him high in her hands.

“T, it’s a boy. We have a son.” I say to her as my body is leaned against the delivery bed running my hands through her hair and smiling with tears beginning to fall from my eyes.

“A boy.” Tina says smiling with tears as the sweat runs down her forehead.  “We have a boy, Bette.”

“Yes we do.” Bette says nodding. “He’s beautiful.”

Dr. Wilson then approaches with their son and places him on Tina’s chest.

“Oh my god Bette..” Tina says gasping looking at her son so close to her face.

“Beautiful isn’t he.” Bette says looking between her son and Tina with tears of joy rolling down her cheeks.

“I can’t believe we have a son. Angie now has a baby brother.”

“I know, it’s so wonderful…and she does.”

“Name him Bette..”

“What?” Bette says as feels astonished.

“I named Angelica, now it’s your turn. I want you to name our son.”

“Really?” Bette’s eyes fill with more tears of joy.

“Yes..our son needs a name..and I want you to pick it.”

“Cole..” The name escapes Bette’s mouth.

“Cole..” Tina says looking at Bette with a smile and then down at her son.

“Cole.” She repeats. “I love it, Bette.”

“Cole Kennard-Porter..” Bette says with a smile.

“Cole Kennard-Porter it is.” Tina says before she leans her body up to plant a kiss on Bette’s lips.

“I can’t believe it’s been four years.” Tina looks at me in amazement.
