“Who me???" Bette interrupted him.
He continued looking at Helena.
"I’m her lesbian lover." Bette continuted and announced loudly for her.
"Bette!" Helena almost fainted at Bette’s response.
"Are you guys done yet?” Bette asked Helena frankly as the officer looked like his jaw would hit the floor.
Helena looked over at him questioningly, trying to stifle her erupting laughter.
“Well…I haven’t got all day…is she done?” Bette smiled and asked him.
“Well, yes she is I guess…” He answered reluctantly.
“Ok, let’s go then!” Bette smiled at Helena.
“We’ll need to see those letters mam. They’re evidence. We can’t move anywhere without them ok.” He explained seriously to Helena, and ignored Bette again.
“I’ll get them to you tomorrow then. Is that all I need to do?” Helena replied.
“Yes mam, that’s all, you can go…” he replied, looking at her as if it was the first time he’d seen her.
“Thank you!” Helena exclaimed in relief before turning away.
“Good day mam…” the officer greeted, looking down at her gentle curves as she walked away alongside Bette.

Helena erupted in a fit of giggles upon leaving the station.
“Bette! I can’t believe you just said that! Did you see his face? Thank you! He was driving me nuts!” she giggled.
“He was driving me nuts! What a jerk!” Bette laughed.
“Ok, for the record, I’m so glad you made me come! It was worth it just for that!” Helena grinned and Bette smiled.
She linked arms with Bette and they both strolled down the steps together.
“Good job I went first then? You wouldn’t have got him otherwise.” Bette smiled.
Helena nodded and erupted into laughter again.
“On a more serious note, it was definitely good job that I went first…they got someone to dust the car for prints and removed the knife! Can you imagine if that bozo you saw had to do all of that? We’d be lucky to be home by Christmas!” Bette joked as she got into the car.
“That’s great Bette!” Helena replied growing serious again as she got into the car.
“It sure is, and I explained that we suspect what’s happening to you might be linked to this incident.”
“Great stuff! Sooo…that means we’re all sorted now? We can go home?” Helena smiled mischievously.
“Yes it does…well kind of…you still have to take those letters in to Officer Romeo in there…” Bette grinned and started the car.
“Was that his name?” Helena asked.
“How do I know?” Bette grinned and Helena burst out laughing again.
“That was so much fun Bette…” Helena suddenly said gently.
“It was, wasn’t it?” Bette whispered and leaned over to press her lips to Helena’s.
“Mmm…” Helena moaned against her lips but pulled away.
“Let’s go home…” she smiled at Bette.

(outside Helena’s house)
“I still can’t get over the look on his face!” Helena giggled again as she fumbled with her house keys to open the front door.
“I know! But it was the look on your face I was captivated by!” Bette smiled and wrapped her arms around Helena’s waist from behind her as the door finally opened.
“Mmm…that’s sooo nice…” Helena murmured, pushing the door shut as Bette nuzzled her neck from behind.
“I know…” Bette murmured against her warm skin.
“What the….?” Helena asked pulling away from Bette suddenly.
“Tina…what are you doing here?” Bette gasped.

Bum..Bum…Bum…….the plot thickens!!I love the officer’s response to Bette shouting that she was Helena’s lesbian lover. Perfect way to take the edge off the story. Tina better leave my Belena alone, or else Helena might not be responsible for her actions. And how the HELL did Tina get into Helena’s house???
Nesh, I’ve been reading about human behavior and decided to apply it to FF reading. We (FF readers) usually choose small tortures in small increments (cliffhangers once a week) over larger tortures with bigger delays in between ([cliffy + 1 wk wait] every…week? O_o That doesn’t make sense >: Did I confuse you now? haaaaa…ehhh me too) But anyway..you seem insistent on forcing the latter on us (the worst of the 2) Hmm though it’s also true that people are willing to wait longer for a bigger reward. :) As for story analysis, erm, I just like being told things, so I leave that to the others (and I kind of suck at it *cough*) Was Tina standing in the dark with a flashlight under her face? pwahaha creepy ‘__’ Wow…I really don’t want to write my paper if I spent this much time writing a comment. mrr….

Ok, Nesha…Berry, berry cool! So happy that they reported the incidents…to dumb and dumber (LOL Clar)…what is up with typing challenged cops and do they really still use typewriters? Its ’06 for goodness sakes. Now, what the ‘L’ is Tina doing there?
Why is Tina there? What does she have like radar or something to detect when Bette is about to bed Helena. Great, this will definitely put a damper on what Bette and Helena had started (dang it!). Back to this stalker business….I’m intrigued. Who could it be? I’m guessing it’s a guy, but whom??? Please post soon Nesha, I just love your story.

I’m with vvitvh on this one. “He” is dropped several times so my spider senses are telling him it’s a man that’s doing the stalking. Or you could just be saying ‘he’ to throw us off the scent. Might the stalker be Tina? BTW – for a woman that is no longer with Bette, what gives her the right to just come in the damned house? She was there before Bette and Helena. Ok, PPS!!

Great chapter Nesh, it really brought back some memories of police stations that I’ve visited. There are so much dumbasses overthere, you just can’t believe it. I know you are a tease but this time you sure spoiled us with it, him/her I’m anxious to know. And last but not least I just love your cliffhanger…I’m curious what Tina has to say now. Well, Nesha, I suspected the stalker was Tina right from the start, but I’m pretty sure you just want to give us a false lead here, you naughty girl… LOL ! It’s been awhile since we have last seen Tina, though, and we know she was at the Planet when Bette found the knife in her car… She might even be suffering from multiple personality disorder, who knows ? Anyway, that police officer was indeed pretty funny. At first, I thought that he was pissed because Bette and Helena had interrupted him and his colleague’s dumb and dumber’s contest. LOL ! I’m so looking forward to reading your next chapter as Tina is going to have a lot to explain. I just hope she’s not going to try and blow Bette’s chances with Helena. That would be so pathetic and unfair of her at this point. But don’t they say “everything’s fair in love and war” ? Oh, well, don’t keep us waiting too long, please, I really want to know if Tina’s going to turn into Norman Bates’ mother or if she’s going to try and rationalize the situation.
Tina being the stalker is too easy. Maybe it’s Winnie…or Dylan. Or maybe it’s still Helena. Or maybe I just really don’t know and will wait for the next post…lol.
I’m very intrigued now… I wanna know who it is! Perhaps it’s Tina. I hope Helena and Tina get into a cat fight. *grins evilly* There’s nothing more entertaining than seeing two women fight.
