“Alice are you sure Helena’s with her?”

“Yes Bette. How many times do I have to repeat myself? She left me for Tina.”

“WHAT? You and Helena were together and now she’s with Tina again?”

Bette and Alice couldn’t help but burst out laughing after hearing Kit, who was totally surprised to hear the news. Once she knew what was going on, she glared at them, but not for too long as she couldn’t help laughing either.

“Oh my god, I can’t believe I fell for that. I feel so stupid.”

    “Stoopid.”

Angelica echoed as she continued squeezing the stuffed toy Bette won in the park. Bette looked down at her daughter who had been sitting on her lap for the last 30 minutes and kissed her one more time. Alice and Kit both looked at them and smiled sadly. Each of them remembering the many times they begged Bette to come back to LA where her daughter needed her.

“So did she tell you when they’ll be here?” Bette asked Alice.

    “Is she boring you already?”

“Of course not Kit, I just don’t think I had enough of her.”

Bette replied before planting another kiss at the top of her daughters head. At that moment both Tina and Helena entered The Planet. Tina’s eyes were on auto search mode as soon as she stepped in. When she saw them all sitting together at a table, she let a huge breath out. She then looked at Helena and smiled.

    “Thank you.”

Helena gave Tina a genuine smile then nodded her head towards their friend’s table. To her surprise, Tina held her hand before heading towards their friends. Tina didn’t want to look desperate or protective, so as much as she felt the need to wrap her arms around her daughter once again to believe she was still here, she just extended her hand to touch her daughter’s hair while saying her Hellos.

“Alice, I knew you love it here, but spending 6 hours in a place other than your work place in the same day is just WOW and pathetic if I may add.”

“Actually Miss Peabody, I didn’t stay long after you bailed on me for the sake of Miss Kennard here. I came back an hour ago, to meet with my dear friends, The Porter sisters.”

    1. This is so sad to begin with that two wonderful ladies ended up lije this. Yet so beautiful that Tina has keep Bette alive in angelic MIND sHE A SMART BABY, This was a great chapter thanks

    2. Agree with missyang… not so fast, Bette. Just concentrate to be a good parent. Let Tina make up her mind and rebuild the trust first. Gosh… What would Bette feel if she knows Tina mistrust her like that? Love it, please continue

    3. Tina did not have to continually tell Angelica about momma B, but she did. If she did not care about Bette then why even mention her name in her daughter’s presence? Yes, she was afraid that Bette may take her again, but then why invite her to dinner? Bette is so afraid of letting her in again for fear of having her heart torn out again. What both of these women fail to realize is that they BOTH still LOVE each other.

    4. Glad to see another post…..can you make them any more frequent. Plz!!!! I’m only reading two stories right now. I’m glad I picked out yours. It’s well written with an interesting plot.

    5. Regardless of what they choose to do, they need to talk. Man I sound like a broken record. It seems like I’m always saying, “They need to talk.” lol
