Bette felt a tingle of excitement work it’s way through her body as she stood pressed up behind Tina in the elevator, her hands wrapped around the blonde’s waist. She leaned in to nuzzle Tina’s hair, breathing in her girlfriend’s delectable scent. Bette smiled as she felt Tina’s hand brush against her own. She secretly wished they were alone in the elevator right now..

Tina grabbed Bette’s hand as they reached her floor, leading the brunette through the elevator doors and down the corridor towards her apartment.

Bette immediately slipped off her shoes as they entered through the door.

"The things I do for you.." She grinned, rubbing her foot as she leaned back against the door.

Tina chuckled as she placed her purse on the table, slipping her own shoes off as she gazed over at the brunette.

"It wasn’t that bad." She smiled, wiggling her toes against the wooden floor. "Besides, now that you’ve done something for me, you get to ask me to do something for you."

Bette raised her eyebrow as she leaned back against the door, a sly grin forming on her lips.

"I like the sound of that."

Bette’s eyes followed Tina’s movements into the kitchen area. She felt so happy to just be here with the blonde, being in close proximity, alone… It made the brunette’s heart beat a little faster.

"Would you like some wine?" Tina asked, turning back round to face Bette as she grabbed a bottle from the rack.

"I would love some wine." Bette smiled, gazing around the apartment.

She’d never really had the chance to look around Tina’s place before. As she gazed around the room, she noticed all the little things. The pictures of her family, the cookbooks on the shelf, the lush green plants outside on the balcony..

"You know, this is the first time you’ve actually invited me into your apartment." Bette smiled, turning to face the blonde.

Tina furrowed her brow as she leaned against the counter. "I seem to recall you coming over before Bette, on more than one occasion."

Bette chuckled as she walked over to Tina, grabbing the wine bottle off the counter.

"Yes, but you’ve never officially invited me over." She grinned, turning the corkscrew to open the bottle. "I’ve dropped you off after dinner, I remember that one night I escorted you home after you drank one too many sambuccas, and the other night I kinda invited myself in.."
