Perhaps it was the hypnotic suggestion or perhaps it was because she’d already suspected it but when Tina was brought out of the hypnotic state the revelation of the attempt on her life by a woman she’d loved didn’t devastate her. Instead it made her stronger and more resolved to get through it without permanently damaging her psychologically. As with the external scars that Bette had so lovingly repaired Dr. Emma and Dr. Partridge did their best to expunge the internal scars from Tina Kennard’s psyche.

    Tina now understood why subconsciously she’d already hardened her heart against the two people she’d love most in the world. Similar to her mind shutting down and blocking the memory her heart also found a way to protect and preserve itself. This explained why she didn’t feel anything for Jodi and Kelly even after she regained her memory. It was why she’d felt no obligation to be faithful to her marriage vows. It was why she’d been able to open her heart to love another despite the fact that she was married.

    Both Emma and Dr. Partridge worked with Tina in several subsequent sessions to make her understand and believe that she didn’t cause any of this to happen. She wasn’t to fault or blame herself for trusting or even falling in love with Jodi. It was purely misfortune that she became the victim of a sociopathic criminally minded opportunist. Justice would be served but not at her expense. She would not let hatred and vengefulness eat away at her heart, soul, mind or spirit. She had too many good things to look forward to with this second chance at life to allow herself to be tainted by this tragedy. It was with this new resolve that Tina Kennard started making plans to get her life back.

    Emma returned to Tahaa after releasing Tina from her care but she promised to be available for Tina any time in the future should she ever need anything. She left Tina in Joyce’s capable hands. When they parted both felt secure in the knowledge that Tina’s mind was as fit as her body. They didn’t anticipate any lasting effects that couldn’t be managed.

    2. Once again! I’ve being waiting ALL day for this update! Being asleep and awoken 3 times checking for a update and finally it was here. Thanks for another amazing update. I’m back off to sleep now cause I have to be up at 5 am for work. PPS

    5. I LOVE a woman on a mission, and tina is no exception, now that she has regained some sense of memory. the game is soooo on now. I can see through your words, tina’s method and her plan to expose Jodi and Kelly for who they really are, has me wondering how long Kelly will last under interrogation and how far she will have to be pushed to cave and tell the truth? sadly when that does happen, she will not be able to escape the fact that she is an accessory to and after the fact. but as tina had stated, she is not out for revenge. I believe her satisfaction will be in exposing the two others and seeing them both punished to the extent of the law. cannot wait to see how this will turn out.

      and of course, I would be remiss if I did not mention my own personal hero #LOVINDAVE. for were it not for him and his compassion and generosity to help, tina would not be alive to share her plans with us. I hope bette is able to meet dave and dave will show bette the herbal remedy of the aboriginal ways. I just think those two are destined to be best buds for life.

      thank you for allowing us all to venture along on this winding tale of adventure with you. the chapters are getting better and better. thank you also for a tale so well written.

    6. Fantastic story. Only remembered the very first few chapters, do really like this story. Tina is a lady with a plan and I hope she gets their hides and throws them back in jail so far that one would have to pipe daylight to them. Great writing BAT. Keep up the good work. Thanks for posting.

    7. I catch up with the story again. I grew completely hooked. I love your talent with words.
      so good to Tina remember everything and not let Jodie and Kelly get away what they did with her.
      I don’t want to Bette disappear completely, at least they do to contact in some way.
      but why do I have this feeling Tina plan will not go so smoothly?
      You give us a lot of drama in this story? or it will be easier?
      I’m looking forward to the sequel.
