Raquel smiled and winked at Helena. She went to her family and spoke to them and gave them the keys to her SUV and house. She lectured them, especially Paulo about being careful in who they pick up and the handling of her car and home. Her sister Izabel assured her, “Não preocupe a irmã, nós será cuidadoso. Assim se você.” (Don’t worry. We will be careful. You should be too.)
Her brother piped in, “Eu gosto dela. É muito "sexy" e lindo.” (I like her. She is beautiful and sexy.)
Her cousin teased “Eu amaria prestar atenção. Posso eu prestar atenção? (I would love to watch. Can I watch?)
Raquel playfully spanked Paulo on his ass and kissed him on the cheek. “Meu deus. Que eu farei com você?” (My God. What will I do to you?)
Raquel came back to get Helena. She took her by the hand and pulled her in close. “Let’s go. To your house I believe.”
Helena nodded. She needed this. She needed to have someone shower her with attention and eroticism. She needed this more than she could say. On the way to Helena’s, Raquel began to ask about Dylan. She was full of questions since Helena had always been so closed about talking about Dylan. She wanted to know how their meeting went, what happened between them in the first place. Helena had avoided the topic previously but as she looked at Raquel’s hand gently on hers, running her fingers over hers, she decided to open up. She found the talk easy and freeing. She spoke freely about meeting Dylan, falling in love, the suit, her devastation over the betrayal, losing her access to her mother’s money and her subsequent failures in relationships. She paused when she began to describe their recent meeting but Raquel interlaced her fingers with Helena’s and encouraged her to continue. Tears slipped out as Helena described her frustration with Dylan for not telling her about Chelsea. Raquel couldn’t understand why she was upset. “You were with me. Why should she not be with someone else?”
“It wasn’t her being with someone that bothered me. I told her about you. I asked her if there was no one in her life. She told me there was no one. Then she next morning I hear her talking to her assistant trying to calm her down because she had just spent the night with me. I know it’s not the same but I felt so deceived. I felt like I was reliving the deception of before. The betrayal and mistrust came flooding back. I wanted to believe she was not that person. Everything seemed so wonderful until I realized she lied to me. I was devastated. I haven’t spoken to her since. I tried to call her once but I got her assistant who told me how wonderful it will be to share Dylan.” Helena pulled her hand away and held tightly on the steering wheel. “I could kill her. I was so angry. And what do you know? She has not called me. For the first few days I would check my phone over and over thinking maybe she would call but…no.” Helena clenched her jaw tight and batted her eyelids to keep away the tears that threatened to fall.
Raquel rubbed her thigh, “I am sorry you went through that but tonight you are without Dylan. I have to say I am happy about that. I can tell you love her though. That is something hopefully I might change over time.
As Helena pulled up to her beach house she looked quizzically at Raquel and asked, “Are you saying you want to make me forget Dylan?”
Helena searched Raquel’s eyes for the unspoken answer. She had no negative history with her. No background noise. The thought of what might lay ahead was welcoming. Yes indeed, she needed something new to think about and this sexy, super confident super model fit the bill perfectly. Raquel leaned over and kissed Helena gently. The kiss was slow and seductive and accompanied by Raquel reaching into her blouse to tease a nipple to erection. “Tonight I want you to think about and remember Raquel. If you forget her in the process, that’s great.”

Squirly-Whirly. First I have to commend you on your song choices. I love love love Katy Perry. (; Looks like Helena is on the rebound to forget Dylan. Man, this is turning out to be one Sick Cycle Carousel (Lifehouse). I wonder how Dylan will react if she finds out Helena slept with Raquel! It might really break her heart. Sigh. I really have to say that Raquel sounds like a real temptress. I thought the little conversation with Raquel and her siblings/relatives was so funny. Laughs. Brilliant as always, Squirly-Whirly. Ok…let me start by saying that I love the soundtrack of this post! I had to go find “Girl from Ipanema” to play in the background…not many things better than a longing bosanova. I’m definitely a Dylena fan…they helped saved season 3 for me, but I am partial to Helena and can empathize with her…the betrayl from Dylan…the fallout…and how what appears to be a simple oversight by Dylan to come clean can feel like reliving the betrayl. On the other hand, I can understand Dylan. Apparently she kinda had to “roll” with her circumstances…and got used to living a certain way but with Helena she “ran” into something real…in the midst of a wicked scheme which clearly left them both hurting….and both found means to attempt to survive. The thing is regardless of blame…whatever they felt from the beginning…it is still there for both of them…is still haunting them…they are still “calling out” to each other… Rachel absolutely is something else and while there is a softness about her in her interaction with Helena….and the family element….I’m still not 100% sure that Helena is not a conquest to her…Yeah, it is possible they could fall in love…but it is equally possible that she could end up hurting Helena. This definitely has so many ways it could go…loving it! PPS
Well I have to say…the Brazilian Babe is better than Chelsea anyday. She’s definitely a HOTTIE! If I was Helena and Dylan was acting out, I don’t think it would take me too long to decide to take her back to my house. Whew! Do we get to read more about their night together? Nothing like a little South American spice to add some heat…
nice update i dont know who to bat for Raquel or Dylan.but damn Helena its not that easy to fuck and then forget someone…it only works for a while then it all comes back around to bite you i the butt.But hopefully she will get it together soona rather than later

On another side note… Raquel does bring a family with her… who seem smitten with our beautiful Helena… so maybe just maybe when Raquel says something like; “Tonight I want you to think about and remember Raquel. If you forget her in the process, that’s great.” or better yet; “Hoje à noite eu quero-o recordar-me. (Tonight, I want you to remember me.) Helena should let go and move on… yes I read your notes and I know that this is ultimately a Dylan and Helena story but right now… I would rather them be happy apart then destroyed ‘together’… hmmmmm… JC
So the major difference is that Dylan felt that Chelsea was nothing more then a distraction… and that is the major reason that ‘she’ might have slipped and not mention it and that Raquel was an actual relationship is what is bothering Helena… that makes no sense… like I said before… Dylan used Chelsea as a means to an end… I imagine that Dylan gets horny and aroused and in need of certain attentions that her own two hands can’t settle… so she had something on the side… in her mind it was nothing serious and which case it she omitted and found out that Chelsea thought it was something different… and also I do believe that Dylan who was the only one to have balls enough to tell her story warned Helena point blank that she had no bases for serious long term or committed relationships since Danny… hmmmm… I might be over reacting but I am just reading over this story from the beginning and well some observations are made… but at least Helena hasn’t told Raquel about her sufferings as a child or anything like that at least not yet… maybe in the morning after Raquel has made her forget… or maybe she will grow up a little and share those with the woman she thinks she ‘loves’… blarg… I’m going to stop cause you must hate me know… love and hugs, JC (Latin Nephew to those Salsa Angels and ever proud cuzzie of the talented Eunichick)
On a side note I was never a fan of Dylan in the show… they had some hot scenes yeah but not a real fan… but well I am in Dylan’s camp for some reason and I love Helena… :S weird… JC
Hello My Passionate Beauty… I will be back very soon… but after reading the last chapter and reading this one… I personally don’t think Helena deserves Dylan… at all… I think if Helena can be this open with her new lady and didn’t have the balls to be this open with Dylan then well move on and move up… Dylan of course chose to remain friends why Chelsea cause Chelsea had nothing to do with Dylan or Helena… and if Chelsea had ulterior motives thats fine at lease she is showing an interest in making things work even if they don’t work the way she might want them to… hmmmmm… so yeah… at this juncture I think it would be Best for Dylan to travel move around play the field… and at least try to forget about Helena… cause she will never forgive herself for breaking her heart… never and she will never be forgiven so its best to set up camp somewhere you might never encounter that hurt again… stay in Africa Dylan… settle down make amazing documentaries and let Helena find her peace as well… hugs, JC
Yes I think Helena has to really dig deep and see that there are many kinds of love and the real love… the deep deep deep love comes when your soul is a risk… and she has never had that… not any more so them right now with Raquel… as for getting my hopes up… only you can make this work out… in any good way… and I have faith that you will chose the ending that best suits you… but maybe Dylan and Rachel will have a go… that should get MD worked up… LOL… JC
JC I love and miss your comments. Please don’t stop. They are from the heart… I have to read your last comment carefully. I’m not sure if I am reading that you picked up some inconsistences. Yes, Dylan has laid open her soul to Helena except for that one little thingie about Chelsea. Helena has not opened herself like that to anyone. She is the one that needs to make herself vulnerable but truly she does remain closed to some extend to both. She will have to make a choice and lay her soul on the line soon enough. As far as the ending of this story. I wrote on another site that I originally envisioned three different endings to this story. So don’t assume this is a Dylena happily ever after.

Wow Squirl, I dont know how to thank you for the chapter, what a lovely gift, so sweet. I don’t know if your going someplace w/Raquel falling in love w/Helena but (hiding in the corner) the whole draw for me was that they could be friends w/bennies and that they fit so well together. I don’t believe that it is the right time for either of them to connect on a deeper plain but I would not rule it out for the future either. I like that they are there for each other at a time when they each need to regroup, even when regrouping we have physical needs and the two of them are on an equal playing field for the most part and just so good together the way you write them. Can’t say that I would not want to see Heleans heart change course and put Dylan out to the curb but I guess I’ll have to keep reading to find that out. When I first started reading the chapter a song named Love Me by Alicia Keys was on, by the time I finished a song named Takeing Back My Brave by Carolyn Dawn Johnson was on, go figure. I’m pretty sure you Raquel knows she is in it for the pound and not the penny, please don’t break her heart. Thanks Squirl, I enjoyed the chapter, but only as a voyeur. I clearly have no right to claim it as my own as I haven’t worked hard enough for it. I leave it to darkhawk and momadukes to fight for it. I think they both want to be Raquel, though. Maybe JC will settle for Chelsea.
