True to her word Dana showed up the next day to see Alice, she also needed to get her started on her road to recovery. It was a slow and painful process, but Alice improved no end and after a short amount of time was able to stand and walk a short distance with a little help. It wasn’t Alice’s pelvis that was the problem, yes it was broken, but it was a clean brake and was healing nicely and her back and neck had only been swollen and bruised internally so they were a bit stiff at first but loosened up after a few sessions. The problem was her shoulder; it had been shattered and was taking a lot longer to mend and due to this Alice couldn’t really support herself when she tried to use the walker, any little amount of pressure had Alice in agony but she was determined to carry in.

“So tell me, will I be able to play tennis again?” Alice grimaced as Dana gently massaged her tender shoulder.

Dana smiled at this. “You play tennis?”

“Nope, I just thought it was something to say.”

“Oh, well no, you wouldn’t be able to go professional with an injury like this. You wouldn’t be able to take a full game.”

Alice turned slightly and looked into Dana’s eyes and saw a faint wistful look.

“I’m sorry, you sound like you know from experience. I didn’t mean to make fun or anything.”

“No, it was a long time ago and you weren’t to know anyway. So, what sports do you like?”

“We are not going to go there.”

“Oh come on. Have you seen Silence of the Lambs?”

Alice nodded at this wondering where Dana was going, she really didn’t want to have to discuss this with her but found that she couldn’t deny the brunette anything.

“Well let’s do that then.”

“Do what, skin girls to make a woman suit? I don’t know if you’ve noticed this before Dana, but I’m actually kinda all woman anyway.”

“I’ve noticed.” Dana didn’t actually mean to say that out loud and by the amused look on Alice’s face there was no way that the blonde didn’t hear her. “What I mean is the ‘quid pro quo’ bit. You know, you ask something then I ask something. You’ve already found out a bit about me so now it’s my turn.”
