Resident Evil L

            Tina walked through the front door of home. It was eerily quiet and her husband Henry wasn’t there yet. She silently swept through the house and headed upstairs to the bedroom. She couldn’t remember anything. Her mind was blank but yet her surroundings were familiar. Her body felt strong but her mind she felt was weakening.  She looked upon the bedside table and found a note.

            Be home soon honey,

                                   XOX Henry.

She tilted her head as she looked at it and grabbed a pen off the desk and rewrote the note to see if her writing matched which it didn’t. She turned and began taking her clothes off as she walked into the bathroom. Once she was fully undressed she looked at herself in the mirror. Noticing the scars and bruises she swept her hands over them. She then began the water in her shower and stepped in then as she stared at the shower head she didn’t notice the Umbrella logo as she fell to the floor and everything went dark.

Trooper 1: Is she down?

Trooper 2: She’s down.

Trooper 1 looked over at helicopter pilot.

Trooper 1: Land it.

The pilot nodded and landed on the building.

Trooper 3: Porter you better be ready for this.

Porter: When am I not, Piezecki get the gear ready.

The blond nodded her head and began working.

Porter: McCutcheon, man the surveillance; we don’t want any unwelcome guests.

Piezecki: Peabody, I need a full reading, is the woman the only one in the house?

Peabody looked at the surveillance monitor detecting body heat and noticed movement.

Peabody: No, it looks like we have an intruder.

They watched the woman get up from the shower slowly and touch her head as she got up cautiously. She went into the bedroom barely drying herself off before she looked into the wardrobe and finding clothing. A red dress and leather jacket. She put on buckle knee high army boots. She felt different again. Almost anxious and full of anticipation. She walked down the stairs.

Porter: Fairbanks, get ready.
