    ‘Tina? Tina Kennard?’

     

    The stunning brunette, that had caught all the attention the moment she had walked into the room, made her way through the mass of people, towards her only destination. The blonde, who listened to that particulair name, Tina Kennard, turned around, weary. The reunion of her highschool had gotten her thinking about that time in her life, and she had remembered all the socalled friendships that would last forever and the promises to keep in touch. All but one… Mixed feelings had swirled around in her mind and heart, as she had thought of all the girls that she had called her friend back then, and especially when her mind drifted towards the one boy that she had called her boyfriend…

     

    Eric Parker had been the hunk in school. Being the handsome quarterback he was, he could have every girl he wanted, but he had chosen the hazeleyed blonde whose name had just been called out… It had been a woman’s voice, Tina realized with a sigh, and she pushed the thoughts of the man she had married shortly after leaving highschool towards the back of her head when she saw the brunette heading her way… Not even everyone had arrived yet, but the old school auditorium started to make the blonde feel claustrofobic. This must be the third person within the 15 minutes since she had arrived, who was enthousiasticly calling out her name, but this time she didnt even slightly recognize the sweet deep voice, that belonged to the woman who was heading her way.  With a grace that took Tina’s breath away, the brunette slid through the last people that were holding them apart…

     

    Blinking, Tina saw how the gorgeous woman almost tripped, still ever so gracefull, in a way that felt familiair to her, and yet she could not put her finger on… Grasping the beauty, who was glancing backwards to see the cause of her fall, in order to help her maintain balance, the blonde felt a jolt of electricity as her fingers surrounded a bare, caramel, upperarm. The brunette gasped, out of breath not only by her journey through the crowd, but also by the excitement to see Tina again. As their eyes finally met a warm shot of recognition went through the beautifull blonde… But… It couldn’t be…

    14. … And there JLBT strikes again!!! WOW, we’re in for a hell of an extraordinary journey again, aren’t we? And you surely know how much I love those slow burns of yours, don’t you?… Oh, and the ponctuation of this great new adventure between these long lost friends/lovers, with those cute and precious little flashbacks makes the whole thing just perfect!… Errr J, you just blow me away…!
