The field was dark and barren. The air was windy and cold.
In the middle of the field stood Helena with two blue knives in her hands. Dylan was next to her looking rather frightened.
Every single one of us had taken positions on the tops of trees where Helena couldn’t reach us. Alice shared her tree with Dana because she was a new vampire and she wasn’t to fight Helena.
"Come on vamps!" Helena yelled, "you’ve killed my protege, one of my witches, and you’ve converted my best witch! When I finish off these vamps you will be next Alice!"
Carmen jumped off her tree, she would be the first to face off the relentless witch. Helena readied herself for the vampire. As taught, Carmen lunged towards Helena at full speed. Helena dodged the attack and swished her knife.
Carmen dodged it and lunged again. They continued the game of cat and mouse until Carmen leapt up to the tree and Shane jumped down landing a kick to Helena’s chin.
The force of the kick sent Helena hurdling towards a tree. She slammed against the tree but at the same time used it as a rope to push herself towards Shane with her knife at the ready.
Shane ducked quickly narrowly missing the blade of the knife. She pushed Helena away as she swung her knife again.
Shane was barely moving out of the way so she jumped back to her tree and Bette jumped down. My heart started beating faster with sheer fear as she faced off Helena.
Helena seemed to know exactly who she was a got a second wind. She swung her knives with vigor. Bette was extremely fast and she dodged every attack but wasn’t allowed to launch any attacks.
I felt my anger rising because Helena seemed to have a murderous intention on my beloved simply because she was my beloved.
Bette jumped over another swish narrowly then quickly ducked. I cried out when I saw a lock of her hair being cut off of her head. Bette could not dodge her any longer.
I was ready to jump in when I saw Dana leap from the tree and grab Helena from behind. She squeezed and the deafening loud sound of her ribs cracking and her piercing scream filled the field.

Oh nooo Bette, please let her be ok and Tina too. Please post more, thanks!
What heaven?! Is there a heaven for vampire?! Anyway …I vote for anything that let them live as long as they don’t have to kill and be together forever. Looking forward to the finale :-) thanks!!
live forever or die and go to heaven? well since i don’t believe in god and heaven thought could have more fun in hell, so i would choose eternity. silent reader here and love all your stories.
First-great update, finally!:)) i’m all for immortality no matter the price so guess that’s my answer. PPS!
Death. Having to kill, never being able to look upon the sun, living in a room-less den where all they do is copulate til it’s time to kill again… it’s like being an animal. Death would bring truer peace. They can kick ass til they go though. Lol. Thx for the post.
Not to have to kill
Don’r really have an opinion other than Helena has to bite the dust.
I think if they love each other they will want to live forever together, but they need to accept their nature without the need to convert one to the other, if it’s me I will love my Vampire lover and stay human, and she should respect this ;D
Please don’t kill Bette.Eternity is it.Thank you for the update.Love your stories.
Wonderful update. thank you.
