Chapter 10
Helena stops by her office before walking to the gym. She lets Carmen know where she’ll be and if there are any emergencies to call her on the radio.
She walks into Dana’s office and sees her sitting at her desk….pale and shaky. Alice is pacing the room like a panther…talking to herself and waving her arms around.
“What is going on, Alice? You’re nuttier than usual today!”
Alice looks up and lets the whole story spill out……why Kelly has returned, the conversation about Denbo’s plan to have Kelly break up Bette and Tina…..and the biggest whopper of them all…………Denbo’s desire to have Tina for herself.
Helena looks at her incredulously, “Alice, you need to get your imagination under control.”
They both turn to the sound of Dana’s soft whisper.
“It’s true, Helena. I heard it too. I heard it with my own ears. Those 2 evil bitches are trying to hurt Bette and Tina.”
Helena’s heart froze. She knew that when Bette heard about this, she would put serious damage on Dawn Denbo’s physical well being. She had to think of plan to thwart this craziness before she could tell Bette. She didn’t want Bette to do anything that would jeopardize her own freedom. The first thing they had to do was to protect Tina. They had to keep ‘Dumb bitch Denbo’ away from her.
“I’ll call Mummy.”
(30 minutes later.)
James reminds Bette of the staffing scheduled for Sabrina Michaels after school today. She groans when she realizes she completely forgot about it and that the meeting would lengthen Tina’s day by an extra hour.
“Whose idea was it to do this after school on FRIDAY?”
James shrugs, “I have no idea. I just write it on your calendar and make sure you get there.”
Bette looks at the students waiting for her to deal with their discipline infractions and decides that she can’t leave the office right now. She puts her head in Helena’s office.
“Can you do me a favor?”
“Of course, what’s up.?
“I have an after school meeting today and don’t want to make Tina wait for me. Can you go ask Alice if she’ll take Tina home after school today? I can’t leave the office right now or I would do it myself.”

Boy, denbo is really nuts if she thinks Tina would have her. Can’t wait until Bette finds out and kicks her behind. The girls should tell Tina what they overheard so she will not take anymore of her treats and eat them. Who knows what she is thinking and might try to do to get Tina. Great update.
