Shane was gone for only two days and yet when they saw her everyone just hold her and told her how happy they were to see her back and she knew all the way that everyone thought that she wasn’t coming back; she decided that she’d give everyone a treat just ‘cause they were her best friends so everyone went to a very fancy restaurant for diner. And since she got to see little Dylan she took him in her arms and didn’t let go all night, she looked so cute holding her baby and trying to feed herself while playing with him. It was a lovely diner.

When they got back to the hotel they bumped into Carmen’s family, they were all there, everyone was shocked Carmen’s mom walked up to her daughter and hold her, then let go and smile

– We have a lot of things to do, but for now you can’t see the bride before the wedding so say goodbye. – She said looking at Shane. Both Carmen and Shane were in total shock but they were happy, so Shane kissed Carmen good night and then went their separate ways.  Shane was happy, her very bad idea worked, and now Carmen would have the wedding she always wanted with the people she wanted to be there for her. And she was also happy for Dylan ‘cause he hadn’t meet his extended family and now he would have a grandma and some more aunt and uncles.

The rest of that week as very hectic, everyone was running around buying things, fittings for their outfits, Carmen and Shane could barely see each other, but they were both really happy and excited; three days before the big event Shane’s dad and his family arrived, so everyone was very happy, Shane was bonding with her dad and it seemed like they really got along, and she liked the fact that he seemed to just love Dylan.

This was it, the night before the wedding, Shane just couldn’t sleep, she couldn’t eat, so she decide to go down to the bar and have a few drinks, that couldn’t hurt and maybe it would help her get some sleep, so she went down and started drinking thinking about how incredibly happy she was but also she was really scared, what if she couldn’t be what Carmen wanted her to be? What she needed? Was she gonna be a good mom to Dylan? With what kind of authority would she tell him not to do drugs, to wait ‘till he’s ready to have sex?  She knew it would be very hard for her but she loved her son and was very willing to try, so she was about to go up and sneak into Carmen’s room but she bumped into her dad kissing a woman that definitely wasn’t his wife, she walked up to him, mad.
