(Star City. Bette was in her sister’s club FIVE-O; she was with Jenny and her partner Niki, Marina and her partner Francesca and Kit’s partner Angus)

Marina: Are you really going back to Metropolis?

Bette: Yeah

Jenny: Why so suddenly?

Bette: Something’s come up

Jenny: Oh okay

Bette: I wouldn’t leave if it wasn’t something important

Marina: We know it’s just so sudden

Bette: That’s what I’m like

(Kit comes over and sits next to her sister)

Kit: You okay baby sis?

Bette: Yeah just thinking about what Al and Shane are gonna say

Kit: They’ll be happy to see you back home

Bette: I have no doubt about that

Kit: I’m singing a tune tonight so I’ll see you later

Bette: Go get em sis

(Kit leaves the table and walks towards the stage)

Marina: Kit is amazing

Bette: Yeah I know, she used to sing me off to sleep when I was a little girl her voice used to calm me

(Kit was now by the microphone. She taps it to get everyone’s attention)

Kit: Good evening everyone hope you’re having a great time

(There was a loud cheer from the crowd)

Kit: Tonight I’m gonna sing a song for my beautiful baby sis I love you sis

(Bette smiles. Darkness descends inside the club)

Kit: I can’t stand to fly

(The couples in the club started slow dancing. Angus stood up and offered his hand to Bette)

(Bette chuckles as she takes Angus’s outstretched hand. He guides them on to the dance floor. They begin to slow dance)
