Will: “Actually I am not sure. It’s my first day too.”
Sam: “Oh, I thought maybe you were a sophomore or junior. You are very tall.” she says looking over at the girl sitting at the far table again.
Will: “So where are you from?” he says looking in the direction that Sam is glued to. “What’s so interesting over there?”
Sam: “Ohummsorry I was just spacing out there. What was the question?” she says turning her full attention back on Will.
Will: “I asked where you moved here from.”
Sam: “My mom and I moved here from Chicago about three weeks ago.”
Will: “Oh so you really are a newbie. Well I have lived here my whole life so if there is anything I can show you don’t hesitate to ask.” he says outright flirting with her.
Sam: “Thanks I will probably take you up on that offer. So do you know a lot of the people here?”
Will: “I know a lot of the people that went to my junior high school but not many of the other kids. Oh except for the athletic teams, I know pretty much everybody on the teams.” he says puffing his chest out all proud like.
Sam: “Wow that’s cool. Are you on any of the teams?”
Will: “Hoping to be. I will most definitely be on the Tennis team. My mom is a famous tennis player so”
Sam: “Oh my god Fairbanks. Your mom is Dana Fairbanks?” she says extremely excited. “She is like my mom’s favorite tennis player; she used to make me watch every match with her before your mom retired.”
Will: “Oh that is great. Umm, do you maybe want to hang out today after school?” he says praying she says yes.
Sam: “Sure. I have to call my mom and make sure that it is ok though. Do you wanna hang at your house?”
Will: “Nocan we hang at yours?”
Sam: “Umm, sure let me ask if I can bring a guy home.” she says wondering why Will kind of freaked out when she asked about going to his house.
Will: “Ok that would be great.” he says grinning.

Oh no. Don’t tell me Hope is gonna fall for Sam. It would be cute, yes, but it would be a wee bit weird especially if Bette and Tina got back together. I now understand what others were saying in that Sam is like Tina and Hope is like Bette. Hope wanting to protect Sam reminded me so much of Bette wanting to protect Tina. Will still needs a slap upside the head. Hope will kick his ass if he tries any funny stuff with Sam. And once again, Ethan my man, please take a shower!
