    So this is it, what you’ve been waiting for, right? Lots and lots and lots of Danish…eventually.

    Episode 7

     

                “Ew! Look at it! It’s all bendy and misshapen!” Alice pointed to the TV screen where some weird creature was walking towards a pair of helpless girls. “Fucking shoot it! Shoot it now!”

                “Oh my God, it’s making the snow steam! And it makes squishy sounds when it walks!” I yelped, burying my head into her shoulder. “I can’t watch!”

                “I looked the last time something scary happened, it’s your turn!” She squealed, mimicking my actions and shrinking farther underneath the blanket on the couch. We were in her apartment watching Silent Hill, and now I remembered why I’d stopped watching scary movies at night.

                I peeked out from under the blanket with one eye, made a horrified face, then ducked back in next to her.

                “What? What happened?” Curious, she stuck her head up to see the screen, and I did the same. “Fuck! Turn It off, turn it off!” She yelled, flinching away from the TV and practically jumping into my lap.

                “I’m trying! The batteries fell out of the remote again!” I said,  pressing buttons madly, my head turned away from the movie. Alice lunged forward, searching blindly for the off button on the control panel. She finally found it, and the TV turned to black with a loud click. She flopped back down on the couch, and we both sat silent, staring wide-eyed at the blank screen.

                “We’re not sleeping tonight, are we?” I asked.

                She shook my head. “Nope. Great idea, by the way. ‘Oh, Shane gave me this new movie, we should watch it tonight!’ You’re a genius.”

                “Well I didn’t know it was gonna have disfigured Gollum’s running around stealing little girls! Christ, who watches this shit? Shane really is weird, huh?” She nodded. “Hey, speaking of Shane, did she go home with you yesterday?”

                “Yeah, why?” I gave her a look, smirking. “No, toast for brains, it’s not like that. She wanted to talk to me about something.”

                I gave a fake gasp. “No way! Yoda, asking for advice? What was it?”

                She laughed. “No, it was more like she sensed I needed a lecture or something. The girl’s got the fucking Force.”

    8. Dorky you did it! They’re finally together! :D Typically Danish to not read each other (sometimes too subtle) signs. ;) Dana was too cute with her announcement on the stage. A great ending (which screams for sa follow-up. :P)
