Bette grabbed Tina’s clothes, shoved them in bags…..and threw them out the back door……she went into the kitchen……and grabbed the lighter fluid……. “teach that bitch to fuck with me…..”. She went out to the back yard, and started pouring lighter fluid all over the bags……..she stood back…..struck a match……and held it up…….
“Cheers, bitch…” and started to fling the match………

“What the fuck are you doing?” yelled Tina as she ran and grabbed the bags……..pulling them out of the way………

“I thought that since you had left to be with your man…..that I would have a bon-fire of sorts….” said Bette with a great big smile on her face…….. “shit…” she yelled as she threw the match on the ground…….

“You deserve that for trying to burn my clothes…”

“I am not trying to burn your clothes..” said Bette as she struck another match…… “I AM burning your clothes….” and she threw it to the bags…….. POOF……they went up in flames…….

Tina stood horrified as she watched her clothes burn…. “Holy shit…..”

Bette stood and watched them burn, then rubbed her hands together…….. “there…trash has been burned…..and damn if I didn’t forget to get my marshmallows….jeez..….” she said as she turned to go back into the house……leaving Tina in awe……..

Tina couldn’t believe what Bette had done……..she turned and stormed out of the back yard and got in her car……cryin all the way to Alice’s………

Alice laughed……. “She did what?……..”

“It’s not funny Al………she burned every piece of clothing that I own…….”

“well, not every piece…..” said Alice as she looked at tina’s only pair of jeans and t-shirt.

“I’m sorry……I’m sorry…….why would she do a thing like that? I don’t think I have ever known her to get that angry…….”

“I don’t know…..she just bugged out, shoved me out the front door, and took my shit to the back yard…….and then POOF…….it was all gone…….”

“Tina, you had to ove said something to piss her off…..so out with it……spill it……..”

“well…..I……well…….I ……sorta…….slept with Henry in our bedroom…..and well….she found out…….”

“Holy shit………no you didn’t…….please tell me that you didn’t fuck him in her bed?”

“Dammit……I shoulda known not to come to you…..” said Tina as she walked to the door…….

“I just don’t know what is goin on with me Alice……I don’t know why I am feeling this way towards men……..I have been with Bette for 7 years and never….not once…..thought about a man coming between us……or anyone for that matter…..”

“Tina, you need to sit back and relax…….and think this out…….you need to figure out why you went towards the asshole……..I mean…….Henry……….what was lacking in your relationship to push you that way? It can’t be that you just one day wanted a dick….it has to be more than that……just…….look…….just stay here and relax…take yourself a nap……besides, I have to go meet Dana for a late lunch….”

“ok…ok…….you are right……I’ll just hang here for a while, think about things…..and maybe take a nap… Thanks so much Al……..”

Bette had come inside, laid down on the sofa, and cried herself to sleep. The anger had subsided, and now the reality of what had happened and what she had done set in……she fell asleep wondering where everything had gone wrong at…..was it Candace…..the biggest mistake of her entire life……..OR……….was it something else????
