Chapter 9  

Tina was putting on her earrings when Sandra her mom came in.

“Wow you look lovely…”

“Thanks” Tina replied putting on her other earring

“Big date?”

“Kinda of…I’m taking Bette out tonight

“Bette Porter?” Sandra asked

“Yes, Bette Porter” Tina smiled

“So…you like Bette?”

Tina remained quiet as she looked up she met with her mom’s eyes, looking stright on to them she smiled

“Yes… I do, I like her very much”

Sandra smiled

“Tina…I’ve never been good at giving you advice in the dating area…I mean you know…you’ve always been level headed too mature for your age at times… you’ve always known what you’ve wanted gone out and got it…you have this spirit that knows no limitation…that said, I know you have a huge heart and I know you would never hurt anyone intentionally….I just want you to remember that Bette she comes with a daughter…and I speak from experience when I say our children they come first above all else…I know a little about Bette and Angie I know she loves that little girl more than life it’s self  that little girl has been her whole world right form the say she was born.”

“What are you trying to tell me mom?” Tina asked

“Just be careful ok…if you decided to continue seeing Bette she comes with a daughter I just want you to be sure your aware of what that means…be prepared to share Bette…I just don’t want to see anyone get hurt…Bette’s been through a lot already…she’s a great person just be careful ok?”

“I know what your saying, believe me I’ve thought long and hard about it…don’t worry I’m not going to hurt her or Angie I feel…I don’t know…all I know is that I want to get to know her better…your going to think I’m crazy but I already feel this bond with Angie I can’t explain it…“

Tina’s mom smiled

“You think I’m crazy don’t you?” Tina asked

“No…No I don’t I think I know exactly what your talking about, I had a similar bond with a certain little blonde girl with hazel eyes at one point…I think I understand more than you think”
