    Tina’s mouth fell open with surprise, and frustration at Bette’s macho attitude. She couldn’t believe some of the things that came from Bette’s mouth.

     

    "We’re gonna bring the fire!" Alice laughed loudly, nearly directly into Bette’s face. Tina chuckled upon seeing the girls for the first time that afternoon. She jogged over to the field they were all standing in, just out of view of the main ground for their residence. It was like watching kids tease each other in a baseball diamond.

    "Yeah, suck it!" Dana laughed with attitude, holding the flag in her hands. "We’re gonna rock this!"

    "Not," Carmen grinned, plucking the flag from Dana’s hand after slipping in from behind them. "… If I can help it." She smiled bringing the flag down near her side as she explained. "I’m so fucking excellent at this, I practically invented it!"

    "You wish," Shane teased, ripping it away from her hand to nod at Bette. "We all know I’m the best at this game."

    "Guys, we can’t even play today," Bette sighed, looking up to the sky, "The weather report called for a downpour this afternoon. I heard about it earlier, and now I’m already feeling a drizzle coming down." She brought her hands up and while all the girls were feeling for droplets of rain, she snatched the flag from Shane’s hand. "And I wouldn’t want to shame you all, anyway."

    "It is really raining though," Shane chuckled, holding her hands up as well.

    The rain started to pat lightly onto all of the girls as they spotted Tina heading over.

    "I guess we should head back," Bette sighed, handing the flag back over to Alice.

    "You’re such a pussy!" Alice shouted, twirling around and then facing all the girls again, "It’s just rain, Porter. You might melt in it, but-"

    "Give me that," Bette laughed, taking the flag back. "I am not a witch!"

    "That’s one opinion," Tina challenged, squinting her eyes with a smile as she jogged up to the girls.

    "I love playing in the rain," Carmen smiled, putting her hands out as the tiny drops grew in size and strength. The whole area was beginning to smell like rain.

    "Are we really gonna play in the rain?" Tina asked with confusion, looking around to the girls.

    "Oh you poor thing," Bette teased, ruffling Tina’s hair. "You can wear a little raincoat if you’re scared to get your hair wet."

Oooooooooo I like it a lot!!! lol I loved the game in the rain an the elevator ride??!! lol the tension was great :D and it must have been embarrassing for Tina to get caught outside of Bette’s shower stall! I really hope that Tina and Bette talk!! They need to! And I loved the last line by Tina. “I need her” so cute! :) Cant wait to read more!!! PPS

I just can’t wait for them to bravely express their feelings to each other.. can’t wait to read where it goes.. please post asap..somehow, this post reminds me of my girlfriend. when i was in high school, and we lived in the same hostel, but her room was on lower floor than mine. one day, i was waiting for her to finish her bath. and i was approached by another friend. i felt the same as tina. felt ashamed of myself. hahaa!! great post! thank you. :D

    8. They’re both so funny with their machismo. Neither one wants to appear weak or needy even though it’s apparent they both feel a need for each other. I wonder who’s gonna give in first….
