That is Mine, This is Yours – Chapter Seventeen: Unkindly

    Chapter Seventeen: Unkindly

“You can’t do this to me, Bette. This is not right. Please let me go.” Tina pleaded with the brunette who kept her eyes on the road ahead. “No, I can’t. I can’t let you go.” Those words held more meanings than Tina realized.

“Why are you doing this? Where are you taking me?” The blonde took in the moving scenic; Bette was driving so fast that the idea of jumping out from the car wasn’t an option if she wanted to live. “You’re scaring me, Bette. I want to go home now!”

Bette swallowed her tears. It was never in her intention to scare or frighten Tina, but this must be done. “So you can go back to your fiancé? I won’t let that happen, Tina. Home is not an option at this moment.”

Tina was at the edge. She didn’t know whether staying in this car with Bette was any better than jumping out. She etched herself to the farthest corner of her seat to get away from Bette if not miles, inches will do for now.

“If not this moment, then when can I go back?” Tina spoke with broken spirits. The words came out a little above a whisper, a sad whisper. Bette ached upon Tina’s inquiry, but she knew she couldn’t allow her emotions to falter her right now. She’s gone too far to go back. “I can’t say” The truth is Bette, herself, doesn’t know when.

Like Tina, silence was captured. No words were spoken again between the two women. Bette continues to drive to her destination. Tina fell into a deep slumber hoping that this was all a dream. Hours passed. The force of the brake snapped the blonde from her nightmare to see it wasn’t, but a reality.

“We’re here, T.” Bette didn’t bother looking at Tina as she opens the door to leave what has become Tina’s cell. “There’s no turning back now, Porter.” Bette thought to herself while unloading the suitcase that she prepared from the car.

Bette sighed when she dropped the trunk down to see Tina thru the back window still sitting in her seat. “Don’t do anything stupid. She’s just testing you.” Bette told herself as she makes her way to Tina’s door.

“Tina? Do you see where we are?” Bette asked while gently tapping on her window. “You can sit here all night if you want, but I’m telling you now; there are no one within miles of this place.” Bette raised two fingers up as an indication. “So that leaves you with two options. You can either come in with me because it gets really cold out here or you could walk home, but don’t say I didn’t warn you about the werewolves.”

Bette smiles as she walks up the steps to her home. The brunette knew that tidbits about the werewolves will scare Tina; and soon she’ll be running through the house.

She dropped her suitcase beside the couch and waited for Tina to come in. Five long minutes had gone by and suddenly Bette had this unsettling feeling in the pit of her stomach. She runs out… Tina was gone. The passenger door wasn’t even closed. “Shit”

Bette bolted. It took her less than fifteen second to get in and start the engine. “She couldn’t have gone too far.” Bette internalized. “Tina, don’t leave me. Please.” The brunette was speeding through the quiet woods until she caught a figure walking…now running.

“Tina! Stop!” Bette crossed in front of Tina to block her passage. “Get away from me Bette. You can’t do this! You can’t keep me here!” Tina struggles to get away from Bette but the brunette overpowered her and led the blonde back into the car.

Once they were inside the house Bette through the blonde against the couch. “So this is how it’s going to be huh, Tina? You like it rough? Fine! I’ve been very nice to you up until this point, but I guess you don’t take kindness very well.”

Tina laughs at Bette’s choice of words. “Nice? Kind? Do you hear yourself Bette? You kidnapped me! Then you bring me to the middle of nowhere! How is this treating me nicely?”

“I could do worst.” Bette’s tone was a mixture of lust, anger, and desperation. Tina straightens herself up to prepare for the battle that is coming. “Try it.”

    1. Hrm. Bette seems rather… desperate and intense. I’ve seen chapter jumps before, but I’d sort of like to see how it all unravelled to the point of abduction, so I’ll wait for the other 15 chapters. cheers
