The Adventures Of Bette Porter And Sissee Gardner After Yale (Part 4, Chapter 7)
PART FOUR: NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA
Chapter 7
What a beautiful day Bette and I woke up to – both inside and outside my little house in Newport Beach. The air was fresh and clean after that nice rain we had during the night plus it was a great feeling to wake up in love and to be loved.
We took a shower together and then put on robes. Bette sat at my vanity in my bedroom and styled her hair with a blow dryer and a favorite brush I had. The brush had a soft plastic handle with fibers totally wrapped around the other end. I had it all through high school in Wisconsin, at Yale and it was still with me in California.
I stood behind her and watched how she held it firmly in her hand and rolled her hair with it while she blew it dry. I decided I could do that for her and asked her if I could. I was always fascinated with her hair. I loved how thick and healthy it looked, with such a fine, rich texture and sheen. She handed me the brush and I quietly finished the job. Even when I was through however, I continued to brush it anyway because I liked doing it. I brushed it away from her face on the right side and leaned down to kiss her cheek and the inside of her ear. I brushed it on the left side away from her face and kissed her cheek and teased her inside ear with my tongue. I flipped her hair up from her neck and sides and plopped it on top of her head playfully, holding it there with one hand and brushing it upwards from the nape to catch all the stray ends, looking at her with a big smile in the mirror. She winked at me and smiled back.
I put my face down on top of the piled hair and smelled the cleanliness there, the perfumed shampoo that was reminiscent of lilacs in the springtime.
“Mmmmm,” I inhaled even deeper, saying “You smell so good.”
Then I kissed the back of her neck softly, several times and added, “You taste good too…”

Yje famous hairbrush chapter!!!!!! It got purged before I had had a chance to read it, but posters constantly referred to it. Now I know why.

good god, its hot enough here as it is….u just made it scolding……lmao……i needa cold shower after that one…..that was amazing……only one thing……I wasnt the one doin that to Bette……lol…….
