The weekend was finally here. Tina was slouched back in the passenger seat of Bette’s Saab, eyes closed, her shoes kicked off and the early evening sunlight playing across her face. They were travelling the short distance to Santa Monica after the brunette had picked up Tina from the movie set, and neither woman could wipe the smile off their face.
"You good there T?" Bette asked with a laugh.
"Mmm" the blonde moaned contentedly.
"You gonna be that talkative all weekend?"
"Sorry babe, I’m just so content right now"
"You look it" the brunette chuckled "I don’t think I’ve seen that smile on your face in a long time"
Tina opened her eyes to look at her lover "That’s ’cause I haven’t been this relaxed in a long time"
"Rough week?"
"God yes" complained the blonde "I just can’t wait to get away from all the egos"
"T…you know you’re sat in the car with the biggest ego in all of WeHo?"
"Sweetie…you got nothing on the supposed movie stars that I have to deal with every day. You’re a pussycat compared to them"
"Hey, I’m quite proud of my egotistical reputation" the brunette pouted.
"Oh babe…you want me to stroke your ego?"
"I’d rather you stroked something else" Bette purred suggestively.
Tina raised an eyebrow "You on heat already?"
"I can’t help it" whined the brunette "being in close proximity to you, particularly when your skirt is riding up your thighs like that…you know what it does to me T"
"Oh, you mean like this?" the blonde teased, sliding her skirt up further to reveal more of her creamy white thighs.
Bette just groaned and pressed her foot down on the gas. Her need to arrive in Santa Monica just increased threefold.
Luckily for the brunette the traffic wasn’t too bad and they soon arrived at their hotel. After a minor incident of road rage in fighting a middle aged man in a Mercedes for a parking space, they were able to enter the hotel and check in promptly.
"Would you like me to arrange for your bags to be brought up Ms Porter?" the young receptionist asked.
"No thank you, we’ll be fine" replied the brunette, desperately trying to avoid any further disturbances or delays to their evening.

Huh…I wish they had shot the hotel room scene involved one blond was pining on the door by one brunette. Hot one! And the talking about their feelings and future will do they good. So Helena found out, who next?
Great update. This weekend getaway is going very well for them and is most important. Their talk is open and honest and that is what’s needed more than anything. Hopefully they will continue to talk to each other about everything and make decisions together. In that vein, hopefully Tina will tell Bette that Helena is in the hotel and approached her to say hello. Then maybe Bette will be calm and not blow a fuse and let it ruin her weekend. That’s just one of those things about being honest with each other. Love their bantering it’s good for them. Thanks for another great post as always.
Hey BabyBeals, That was brilliant and covered so many bases. Firstly there was anticipation as Bette and Tina drove to the resort. Tina was so naughty and precious with her gentle teasing. Then at the hotel, a speedy retreat to their room delivered the best pay-off. I so love how in-tume Bette and Tina are with each other right now. Bette was rough and physical because that was exactly what Tina needed and wanted. Their dinner was romantic and tender. The gals have come so far; they are able to accept their past failings, focus on the present, appreciate that they are still in the honeymoon phase and realize that their relationship always takes precedent and effort to succeed. Life has constant ups and downs. It is how we weather these that builds a lifetime together. Both gals are willingly to put in the work and keep communicating. Then Helena’s surprise appearance only server to prove that she has grown up to and is so happy that Tina has refound her soul-mate. It is written all over her face. Just wonderful. More please.
