The B Word..Chapter 26 Bright Light
The last chapter ended with a gun shotActually Two.
Helena fired the gun towards Alana (Bette & Marias Mother) who was holding Anna Bella ( Bette & Tinas baby)
Bette runs toward her mother and the baby..
Mom have you been hit.is Anna Bella ok. Bette screams
Alana can not talk..She is clinging to Anna Bella
Bette grabs her and shakes her mom.
Oh my god Bette ..Im not the one shot ! Its her.?Alan screams in shock
Bette grabs the baby.She notices the baby is fineother than she is crying.
Kit runsto Maria who is on the ground.trying to get up
Maria dont move an ambulance is on the way. Kit tries to stay calm so she can keep
Maria from going into shock
Tina runs to the bath room and grabs some towels.She comes back with them.
Here Kit.lets apply these.keep pressure on the wounds.So it slows the bleeding.
Tina says as her and Kit are on the floor trying to help Maria.
Maria is trying again to get upShe wants to get at Helena..
Who *****.how dare you come in our house.. Maria gasped
Then Maria falls back and goes unconscious.
Where is that damnambulance. Bette yells.
No please dont let her die! Alana screamsNo! Its all my fault!
The paramedics are lead into the house by the some more officers
Alice, Dana, and Jenny arrive..but the police wont let anyone near the crime scene..
The whole front yard is roped off.TV reporters are outside trying to get their story
Alice..tries to argue with the officer.But Dana and Jenny.pull her backCome on Alice
The police..escort Helena out in handcuffs and place her into a cruiser.
The paramedicslead Alana out of the house.and they have Bette bringing out Anna Bella.and loading them into another ambulance Kit and Tinaare escorted out by the police officer Ladys our paramedicswill be able to do their work.Lets just step outside. The officer says politely
Bette hands Anna Bella to her motherPlease take care of them She says to the paramedic in the ambulanceBette hops out of the ambulance and runs toward the house. The officer tries to keep her from entering but she pushes passed him.
That is my sister in there she just save my daughters life and our mothers.
Bette cries as she enters the house and watches them working on her sister..
The officer comes after herbut one of the paramedics looks at him and saysJust leave her alone The officer retreats outside.
