Planet. Tina comes and sits with them at a table

What are you going to do about your singing career?

Im hopefully going to do both.maybe corporate my singing here
at the Planet.I dont really knowEverything is so fresh and new.
Kit replied.

Bette was looking over some documents for Kit.

Im very proud of you. Bette states as she gives her sister one of her amazing smiles.

Hey I have to go..Oscar and I have a meeting at 10:00am.Ill see you tonight for dinner right?? Tina asks as she is leaning over to give Bette a peck on the cheek.

Thanks Tina but I am having some bands in to audition for the Grand Opening next Friday. Kit responded. Thanks anyway.

Shane came dragging in as Tina is walking out.

Oh my god Dana is going to be so mad..There is a article in the paper

Look I would love to sit here all morning but I have to get busy. Kit got up and walked towards her office.


I have to run I have a couple appointments this morning and then I have to go to the jewelry store. Bette stated as she got up from the table to leave. I am seeing a designer todayShe is going to help me design new commitment rings for Tina and I.

Just as Bette finished Dana, Jenny, and Alice come up to the table and take a seat.

As Bette head out of the Planet a cut young girl was entering. She held the door for Bette.
They exchanged pleasantries. The girl who was about 55 curly brown hair and beautiful brown eyes and very nice built, walked up to the counter a ordered a smoothie.

Damn you can tell Porter is in love or she would have been getting that girls order. Alice said.
Dana couldnt speak she was just in awl.
So is that how you guys treat all the new meat in town? Jenny asked them in a playful way.

The young girl took her order and went to a table outside to sit.
She was reading the newspaper. Actually she was focused on the help wanted ads.

UmyeaI just moved here, so Im looking for a job. The girl replied.

Im from the Midwest.Ohio actuallyI just moved her two days ago.

Well various reasons I would like not to discuss but the main one is to go back to college to pursue writing. Maria stated.

Um Im a hairdresser but right now Im helping out at one of the studios. Shane replied.

Im twenty five.I just look young for my ageI have been teaching in the Midwest but when I lost my Grandmother Nina, I didnt have anything to keep me there so I set out on a journey Maria shared with Kit.
What kind of work did you do before? Kit asked.
I was actually a teacher in Ohio I have a masters all so I just wanted to find myself..
So at the end of this past school year I took a leave of absence. Maria confided in Kit.
Wow you seem over qualified to work here. But I can always use someone a couple of days a week. Kit shared.It wont be much to start out at.??Kit suggested.
Ms. Porter.Im a very hard workerI had to work my way through college and I had to help out taking care of my grandmother. Maria stated eagerly It would be an honor to work with you.
Well when can you start?Kit asked
As soon as you needed me to Ms. Porter. Maria said eagerly
You have a job on one conditionyou have to call me Kit. Ok? Kit said with a huge smile and a handshake.

Thanks again.Have a nice day both of you..She picked up her book bag and walked out of the office. As soon as she got out of the Planet..You could see the excitement in her face..She just grinned.

Well if you need me to train her just let me know.Shane said.
