The big deal – Ch 6
Chapter 6
“How do you feel Al?” asked Helena gently looking Alice in her eyes trying to understand if she remembered what happened the night before.
“Like shit! I’d have drunk too much..” Alice didn’t manage to get out of the tub herself and just the British courage of Helena could got through the kicks and insults of the still upset writer. After a large amount of words and some physical constrictions Helena obtained her goal and Alice was out of the bathroom, sitting on her couch with a big mug of coffee in her hands.
“I’d be dazed if it wasn’t like that! You really had a bad time last night Al! “ answered immediately Helena in a judgemental manner.
“Do you remember what had happened Al? “ Tina was worried about her friend conditions, but most of all about what will come next.
Alice lowered her sight and sipped her coffee with a terrible headache and a dizziness which didn’t come from the alcohol, but directly from her heart. “I fucked up I guess… “ She finally admitted.
“Completely, Alice! Bloody hell! What did you intended to do ? Do you really think that way should be the right way to have Dana back? I just don’t understand why you never think before acting!” Helena was really nervous and worried about the blonde. She had been her confident for many months and she perfectly knew how much Alice was still in love with Dana. At the same time she knew the reasons why Dana decided to break up despite her sincere love for the writer and she was frustrated by the fact that Alice behaviours continued to give reasons to Dana’s decision.
“Oh fuck you Helena! Who do you think you are to tell me that crap? I am adult enough to do whatever I want!” Alice yelled at Helena in anger and frustration.
“Hey Al! Stop talking like that to Helena, she’s just helping you. When you’ll start listening to good advices you’ll be a happier woman! So stop being so destructive , please! “ Tina wanted that arguing to end, she had too much fighting herself during last weeks and she couldn’t handle much more struggles.
Alice calmed down and became more reflective “I’m sorry, I didn’t want to be selfish. Yesterday I was just drunk, that’s it. Don’t worry for me, I’ll be fine as sooner as you can imagine!” The writer tried to act as a wellbeing and recovered person, but she wasn’t a good actress at all. Her friends couldn’t believe her, the previous events proved how badly hurt she was.
