The big deal – Ch 9
Chapter 9
Shane parked her jeep just in front of Dana’s condo, she switched off the lights and waited for a second for her eyes adapting to dark. Carmen lowered her side window and tried to focus her attention on Dana’s apartment dark windows.
“She is not at home I guess!” said Shane as a matter of fact.
“Maybe she’s just on the back or she’s already outside waiting for us” Carmen said looking with much more alertness to the condo.
“Yeah, but waiting for us she met the woman of her life and she accidentally left without warning!” remarked bitterly Shane.
“Maybe she had to leave for some reason or she simply forgot our appointment for dinner. Well, why don’t you try to call her?”
Shane dialled Dana’s phone number and waited for her friend to answer. Nobody answered in a long while.
“I’m sure that there’s just a reason which may had Dana forgot our dinner!” Shane grinned and begun to smoke a cigarette allusively.
Carmen smiled and took her mobile phone to call Kit in order to keep a smaller table for them. The couple was happy for Dana, they believed she had to move on after the break down with Alice and all the sad and hurting stuffs they’ve had experienced during past months.
“What the fuck…. “ Shane yelled and jumped out of the car running towards the house.
Alice was standing few meters from the house when started to throw heavy stones bigger than an apple toward Dana’s windows. The first one she threw was a bad throw and landed on the floor near her after beating on the house’s front wall. The second stone was a perfect throw with a sinuous parable which reached easily Dana’s window on the left side of the condo. The glasses broke down with a loud crash which exploded in the silent night. Pieces of sharp glass landed near Alice and all around the jeep. Shane instinctively sheltered her face with her hands and arms while reaching Alice too late to stop her. Carmen screamed out in scare while talking to Kit on the phone. She saw splinters of Dana’s windows coming down from the sky, but since she was off-guard she couldn’t understand what was going on and just got frightened by the thunderous noise.

What is Helena doing there? Please no Belena…if Bette must move on let it be someone new. I can’t get over Bette catching Tina & Henry in bed…so I KNOW she can’t.
Glad that Helena is a fast mover. Poor Alice she really has trouble. thanks
