    When Bette walked into her house the next morning, she could no longer feel Tina’s presence…

    When Bette walked into her house the next morning, she could no longer feel Tina’s presence… The painting «Paris in the rain», which was hanging in the dining room, was gone, leaving an empty space. Just like Tina had done in Bette’s heart.

    «Hey Bette, are you OK?», Shane asked.

    «Yeah, I’m fine… Thanks for coming with me guys. I don’t know if I would have been able to do this without you»

    Shane, Alice and Dana all looked at Bette and smiled weakly. «You know we’re here for you, right ? Anytime, any place…», Alice told her.

    Bette smiled back. «I know…Thanks again for coming», was all she said.

    They walked up to the door without saying another word. «Wait !», Bette suddenly said. They turned around to see that Bette was crying. «Please, don’t go…», she sobbed. Alice, Shane and Dana all knew how much Bette loved Tina, but at this moment they fully realised how deep her feelings were for her. They had never seen Bette so desperate, fragile and vulnerable.

    «Come here…», Alice said as she pulled her friend into her arms. Bette clung to her and sobbed on her shoulder. «It’s gonna be OK, Bette…», she said.

    «Why Alice ? Why did she do this to me ?»

    Alice stroked her back. «I don’t know sweetie… You’ll have to ask her», Alice replied, guiding Bette to the couch.

    «You two will need to talk, Bette…», Shane said.

    «I know, I just can’t right now… It’s too painful, I can’t even bare to look at her…», she admitted. She sighed. «You know what, I changed my mind… You can go now, I’ll be all right», she added.

    «Are you sure ? We don’t mind staying, really», Dana offered.

    Bette smiled at them. «You’re the best guys, but I have to do this by myself»

    They all stood up and gave her each a big hug. «You call us anytime you want», Alice told her.

    «I will, I promise», Bette replied as she watched her friends leave. When they closed the door behind them, Bette was struck by how silent the house was. It was strange because it certainly wasn’t the first time she’d been alone in here. But this was different somehow… It felt empty and depressing. Bette walked up to the bedroom and pushed the door open. She entered slowly, and her eyes fell on the closet she shared with Tina. The door was slightly ajar and she could see that Tina’s side was completely empty…

    5. I’ve thought about this twist and it dawned on me that Tina has done this before. She cheated on Joe when she met Bette. She even went back to Joe (unbeknownst to him) with intentions on marrying him. Once she committed to Bette she gave her promise that she wasn’t that kind of person and that she’d always be faithful, oops. Hopefully she doesn’t leave Bette in your story, but this isn’t “virgin” soil for Tina.

    9. Hey ML, Good to see that so many of your fans are supportive of recent events. I think that we all hope this is a hiccup Bette and Tina’s live together. Sometimes you do need to shake things up to realize what you had and to appreciate it fully. Tina knows that she fucked up royally but now she has to pursue Bette, prove her worth and show how much their life together means to her. The trust has to be rebuilt which willtake a lot of hard work and effort on both gals’ parts. I think you belong together so hope for a future together. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out.     10. WOW M, we see how things began to get bad for both women and Tina took the easy way out to ease her pain, but if only for a short time and cheating on Bette, what will happen now is the question!! Great chapter M,

This is sad, you put us up in a good time that we can’t get enough and wanted more but then bam you drop us like a bomb with the drama and sad for B&T but that was good twist though and love it. Now hope you will give them a chance to talk and work thing out, this is so sad. Anyway please post more, thanks!
