Chapter One”Day after the P word.

The sun was shinning through the window. The alarm was sounding. Bette was so groggy
That she yelled for Tina to answer the phone.
Hey Tina? Can you answer my cell?? Bette said while she was still trying to open her eyes.
Bette did not hear anything from Tina. She got out of bed and realized the noise was her alarm. Still dazed and confused she got out of the bed stumbling over clothes on the floor.
She turned of the alarm and fell onto the bed. She glanced at the Tinas dress on the bed.
She noticed it had been torn. Oh My God!!! It wasnt a nightmare last night. Tina did really find out about Candace! Bette jumped out of their bed and ran through the house
Yelling for Tina.
Tee! Tee where are you? Bette was disperately screaming.
There was no answer, no sign of Tina. Bette ran to the front door and swung it open.
She looked frantically outside”No Tina, Then she ran through the house like an Olympic sprinter”to the back of the house. She ran out to the pool. Still no Tina.
She dropped on to her knees and started crying Oh This cant be true, This cant be true!!
Meanwhile over at Alices apartment

Alice tiptoed through the house, trying not to wake Tina up. She felt Tina needed her sleep since they didnt get to sleep until after 3:00am. She had held Tina, while Tina
cried uncontrollably and finally wore out and fell asleep.
She began to make some coffee. That is when Tina began to stir.
Tina woke up and looked around the room. She looked down at her hand that had the wedding band on it. She tried to take it off but it would not budge. She couldnt believe her heart could be shattered by the one person who once caused it to flutter with love.
She kept saying How could she do this to me! I cant believe Bette would have ever done this to our relationship!!!
Alice came into the room with a cup of coffee for Tina.
Hey Tee how are you feeling?
I feel like my heart and my future have been ripped away and there is just an empty space in there place! Dammit! How could she have done this! Tina cried.
