“It’s the ’heart’ of my piece but you will understand more after I make my introduction. So you and Tina are back together?”

“Yes we are. We’re very happy.”

“I am happy for you.”

Just then Tina and Peggy come out of the ladies room and they greet Jodi.

“Jodi it is good to see you again. Congratulations on the opening I understand we are in for a real treat.”

“Thank you Peggy and thank you for coming. Yes I am very proud of this piece. Hello Tina.”

“Hello Jodi.”

Tom comes up to the group and greets everyone then tells Jodi that it is time to make her introduction. They get everyone’s attention as Jodi walks onto the makeshift stage. Tom is interpreting for her.

Jodi: I want to thank everyone for coming. I know this is a very unusual location for an art exhibit but when we unveil it you will see that it is suited to the surroundings. I am very proud of this piece and I want to thank a special friend for not only inspiring it but also for personally delivering the core piece that completed the vision.

I call the exhibition “17 Reasons Why You Should Follow Your Heart” and as you view the exhibit you will see these words inscribed throughout: DREAMS, COMMITMENT, SUCCESS, ENTHUSIASM, ENDEAVOR, LOVE, EMOTIONS, TRUTH, LIMITLESS, BELIEVE, CONFIDENCE, COMFORT, RISK, ENCOURAGEMENT, CLARITY, POSSIBILITIES, and PASSION but the simple message is that when you follow your heart the possibilities are limitless. Your heart does not confine you the way your mind can. Following your heart allows your dreams to become reality.

Jodi signals and the cover is lifted. Everyone gives her a great big round of applause. The band starts to play and the people start surrounding the display to get a closer look. After a while Tina wanders off on her own while Bette does some networking with Peggy. She stops and makes conversation every now and then but there really isn’t much to do after she’s seen the exhibit so she’s getting a bit bored.

She noticed that people were starting to leave so she goes in search of Bette and Peggy. As she is looking for them she feels a tap on her shoulder. When she turns around she is staring into the chest of a very tall muscular gentleman. She slowly raises her head and is greeted by a familiar face with a wide grin. Her own face breaks out into a smile.
