    The Elles part 2

    Previously……

Cries of confusion are heard everywhere as the fog around Dana’s brain dissipates. She begins to scream, when Candace finally notices her. Before Dana can speak, she screams, "It was The Elles! They did it! They shot Chaiken!"

Sweet Betty Crocker. Ilene Chaiken has just been shot, The Elles are being blamed and they are surrounded by very angry lesbians. And to top it all off, today was Thursday. An all-out brawl begins out of thin air. Not quite believing what just occurred, Peggy and Bette make their way to the stage, telling the others to take cover. Eyes fixed towards the dark sky, Chaiken’s body lies lifelessly on the ground. Screams for The Elles’ blood and Ilene’s once mousy assistants turn murderous. "Bette, run. I’ll meet up with you guys later. You’re in charge. Now, go!" And with that, Bette fought her way back to the rest of the gang and fled the pier. "You killed Ms. Chaiken! I’m gonna kill you!" screamed one assistant. "Shouldn’t you be getting me my coffee? I take it black, no sugar," smirked Peggy. "Go to hell!" "Fine," Peggy shrugged, "but I’m taking you with me." And with that, the fight began.Peggy was mobbed  by what seemed like dozens  of assistants until she could no longer be seen.

    Alley

"Dammit! I knew something was gonna go down! I felt it in my gut!" yelled Tasha. "Oh, come on. It wasn’t that bad. I got three numbers out of it," said Shane, hold up scraps of paper. "Really? I got five," bragged Papi, holding up a handful. "Not that bad? Not that fuckin’ bad!? They were trying to KILL us! Ilene’s dead and everyone thinks we did it! We’re fucked!" screamed Kit. "Do you think Peggy is okay?" Dana wondered out loud. Bette heard their arguing and had grown sick of it. "Enough! We have enough to worry about without you guys bickering. Peggy put me in charge until she gets back, which she will. First things first. We need to get back to our own turf. We’ll head north until we reach home. Dana, tag tht wall so Peggy can find us in case anything happens." Dana pulled a spray can from her bag and tagged a pink "L" on the wall. "Yeah, I like that. I like the way it seems so free ands uninhibited . You can tell she used-" "Dammit it, Bette! This ain’t the motherfuckin’ CAC, it’s a goddamn alley! Now move yo’ bony ass!" hollered Kit. And so their journey began.

    Radio Station

"Hey, Bumpers. Alice Pieszecki here reporting with some bad news. It appears that WeHo’s The Elles are the blame for L Word writer Ilene Chaiken’s death. As you know, I’m a part of that gang and, for the record, I’ve been here all night. We all had our hate for her, but none of us wanted to hurt her…physically. Anyway, I’ve just received a special song request made out to none other, The Elles. Watch your backs out there, ladies."
