Bette realized how exhausted she was once the clock struck twelve, and she smiled to herself at how involved Tina was in the conversation of baby toys.
"Yeah I know! They’re sooo expensive now!" Tina said expressively, holding out her hands to help accentuate her point.
"What are they thinking? Children are amused with boxes," Helena laughed.
Tina shook her head and took a sip of her drink. As Alice shifted in her seat, Bette’s focus went from Tina’s lips to her friend on the other couch.
"Screw kiddie toys," Alice chuckled, "I’d rather have my own!"
Everyone laughed at that statement.
"And what would your kids play with Alice?" Tina laughed, putting her glass back down. The way Tina touched everything and the confidence she constantly exuded made Bette crazy. She had to restrain herself from pouncing on tha blonde. She wanted to kiss her, touch her. Everything.
"What kids?!" Alice squealed with a smile, looking around herself. "Why are we talking about babies?"
Everyone laughed again.
Tina caught the sweet smile gracing Bette’s lips and she furrowed her eyebrows to silently question the gesture. Bette chuckled and shook her head, taking another sip of her own drink.
"Are you all as exhausted as I am?" Dylan laughed, fully enjoying the evening with her temptress.
"You’d better not be too exhausted just yet," Helena smirked, causing Bette to roll her eyes.
Tina shot her a look and she straightened her posture with a sly smile.
"Yup, sure hope you’re ready to go too," Bette said with an wink. "Because it is ON."
Alice snorted and Dana sat confused while Helena raised an eyebrow and Dylan smiled at the soon-to-be performance.
"What?" Tina asked quietly, shocked significantly by Bette’s open statement.
"Sex," Bette grinned, picking up her glass and taking another sip before speaking again, "So, you ready?"
Helena let her shoulders fall as she realized what Bette was doing, forced to smile at the looks on the Alice and Dana’s faces.
"Oh fuck, I am ready," Bette announced, standing and motioning for Tina to get up as well. "Come on baby. This is gonna be sooo good."
"Bette-"
Before Tina could finish, Bette leaned in and kissed her girl on the lips, running her hand behind her head to grab onto her hair. The passion got to Helena and she subtly squeezed Dylan’s knee.

Just spent the last few days catching up on the stories. Had to go back to 17 as that was the one I remembered last. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of them and so glad they have finally gotten together. Loved them all and hate to see them come to an end. Your authors’ notes always leave me howling with laughter or in tears but always enjoyed. Your writing is spectacular.
