The Island – Chapter 44
Harrison knocked on the inner door to the suite at 8:00 AM on the dot. While he knew Alice wanted to spend some “alone” time with Dana, she also wanted to get a few last minute items resolved so they could leave as scheduled tomorrow. Alice would be mad at him if her day got behind.
He was not concerned when there was no response to his knock. He gave a little grin when he thought that the women must have really worn each other out last night.
He opened the inner door to the suite and headed over to the bedroom and was surprised to find the door open. He was shocked to see that neither woman was in the room. He searched quickly to verify the neither woman was still in the suite and then went to the guards outside.
“Did Miss Pieszecki already leave?” Harrison thought he knew the answer, but, he needed the quick validation before he sent up the red flag.
The guard looked a little panicked. “No, sir, we have been here all night. Neither of them left the room.”
Harrison hurried back into the room and pressed the panic button. Within minutes, several senior security personnel, including Sam and Tasha, were in the suite. Shane had come in with them. Many years ago she had the panic button alarm changed so it would also send to her cell phone. It had never gone off before. She was trying hard to conceal her rising panic as to where Alice and Dana were.
The first thing the security command post did was to activate the trackers. Alice, Shane, Dana and Harrison all had computer chips in various pieces of clothing. It was standard practice for them to have at least one when they were out. Unfortunately, neither Alice nor Dana was wearing one in the privacy of their hotel room. Their cell phones were also left behind.
The hotel was immediately locked down and Tasha started a full search. She was coordinating with the various security teams on a hand held radio. Sam had another radio and was in contact with the New York security command post. She was making sure they had access to external sources such as traffic cameras. She was also getting transportation in place and getting an elite team of security folks set up in combat gear. Wherever Alice was, they were going to attack in full force to get her back. Harrison contacted Brad to get a medical team ready and to work with security for hospital facilities, should they be needed.

Oo oo oo *waving arm wildly* can I interrogate her??? really by the time I’m done with her she’ll give up her own granny!!
Excellent MaGoose, simply excellent. Even though with only a brief appearance of A & D on tape, you still managed to keep me on my toes. I am glad that Lara came forward voluntarily. Since they were in New York, I am sure that Jack Mallone, Sam Spade and the rest of the FBI team would lend a helping hand. Believe me, they seemed to have all the resources to find any missing persons. I would love to join shanesthebest for the interrogation. We need to give these two bitches some serious fish slaps. lol. Please make sure they wouldn’t stop searching until A & D were found even if they had to drink loads of coffee and pop some caffeine pills until then. Thank you very much MaGoose. Be back soon please??!!!
