“I’ll do that,” Carmen grabbed the napkin from Paige. “I’ll be calling you soon.”

“All right—I’ll be waiting.” Paige smiled and walked away. Carmen looked at the number and put the napkin in her pocket. She grabbed her beer off the counter and walked away.

                Bette looked at herself one last time in the mirror before Marina came and got her. She took a deep breath and raked her fingers through her hair. She fixed her blouse and walked out of her room. She walked out into the living room and grabbed her heels. She slipped them on, and there was a knock on the door. She walked over to the door and answered it. She smiled softly when she saw Marina at her door step.

“Hi.”

“Good evening love,” Marina leaned forward and kissed Bette softly. Bette pulled Marina into the house and closed the door. Marina pulled away from Bette and looked at her. “You look amazing.”

“Thank you,” Bette smiled and grabbed Marina’s hand. “So do you.” Marina kissed Bette again, and Bette laughed softly.

“Let’s stay here tonight. We don’t have to go out.”

“I’ve already my reservations for us. I can’t cancel them.”

“We don’t have to show up.” Bette laughed and pulled away from Marina.

“C’mon–,” she grabbed her purse. “We can have dinner and then we can come back for a night cap.”

“It’s a deal.” Bette pecked Marina on the lips and grabbed her hand. They both walked out of the house.

                Eva stood in her doorway and looked at Diana sleep in her bed. She walked over to the bed and sat down. She smiled softly as she ran her hand across her silky skin. Diana moved around and moaned softly.

“Hey—,” Diana turned over and saw Eva sitting on the bed. She smiled softly.

“Hey.”

“You’ve been sleeping for a while now.” Diana wrapped the sheet around her chest and ran her fingers through her hair.

“What’s time is it?”

“It’s a little bit after seven.” Diana shot up.

“Shit!” She began to grab her clothes and throw them on. “I gotta go, I’m late.”

“Late for what?”

“I’m late for work—I can’t believe I slept so late.” She began to put on her shoes as Eva watched her worriedly.

“Why don’t you call off? You’re still resting from the cruise. They’ll understand won’t they?”

“I’m sorry Eva,” Diana shook her head. “I really want to be with you, but I have to go.” She walked over to Eva and kissed her. “I’ll call you tomorrow.” She grabbed her bag and went the house. Eva got up from her bed and watched Diana get into her car. She leaned against her doorway and sighed.

                Kit walked outside to dump the trash when she bumped into something.

“What the fuck?” She looked down and saw a body. She leaned down to see if the person was still breathing. “Hello? Hey—are you okay?” The person jumped making Kit scream. “Shit! You scared the hell out of me.”

“Don’t touch me!”

“I’m not going to hurt you. Calm down. Angus!” Kit yelled back into the Planet. “What’s your name?”

“Erica Lawer—,” she passed out and fell back to the ground.

“Damn it, Angus!” Angus came running out the door.

“What’s going on? Why are you—,” he looked down. “Oh—is she alright?”

“She just passed out. We need to take her to the hospital.” Angus bent down and picked the young girl up into his arms. He groaned as he got her in his arms and walked back inside. Kit followed behind him.
