the L saga: Episode Nineteen
Shane hopped off the skateboard and walked back into WAX. She licked her lips and headed over to the counter. She looked over her book and looked at the names.
“Hey Chantal—has my eleven o’clock came in yet?”
“Yeah—she’s waiting for you at your station.”
“Thanks,” she sat the book down and walked towards her station. She pulled the curtain back and smiled softly. “Hey.”
Carmen smiled. “Hey,” she held up the Vogue Magazine with Shane on the cover. “You’re making a name for yourself. Congratulations.”
Shane smiled and leaned against the wall. “Thank you.” Carmen got up, and Shane wrapped her arms around her. “Good to see you home again.” They pulled away and stared into each other eyes. Carmen pulled away and sighed.
“Can I have your autograph superstar?” Shane grabbed the magazine from Carmen and grabbed a pen off her counter. She signed it and smiled. She handed back to Carmen. “Thank you,” Carmen sat back down in the chair.
“So, when did you get back in town?”
“Early morning,” Carmen stretched. “I’m still jet-lagged.”
“Why don’t you go get some sleep?”
“I will eventually,” Carmen looked at Shane and smiled. “I really love your article. I mean—you said some things in there that made my jaw drop.”
“What did I say?”
“Okay,” Carmen nodded her head and opened up the magazine. She flipped through the pages and stopped. “Here it is I highlighted it.” Shane smirked. “Yes, I do believe in monogamy. I tried it out once, but it backfired. Oh—you chuckled there.” Shane shook her head. “I like this right here—I was with this girl for almost three years, but I screwed it up. I made a mistake and cheated on her. I wish I could turn back the clock and stop myself from it. I never meant to hurt, and I never forgave myself after that. I still love her til this day, and if I had another chance with her, I’ll jump on it.” Carmen closed the magazine and looked up at Shane. “You are very smooth with words McCutcheon.”
“I meant every word I said.” Carmen sighed and stood up. “Carm—would you take me back?”

If I was Tina I would have went back and asked Audrey what Bette just said…I mean things aren’t always what they seem…I know it looked bad but crazy things sometime can be explained. Is Tina looking for a way out? Is that why it is so easy to walk away?

Tina you need to listen to Bette. Damn Helena and Ryan is hot!
Audrey, go die. Now. No, that’s not a request, it’s a demand. Tina…WTF, woman?! Okay admittedly I’d be upset too, but at least agree to discuss it later after everyone has calmed down a bit. Bette should’ve left her chair after Audrey sat her ass down on the desk. Shane + Carmen = getting back together? Jenny…yeah. Helan is awesome! Maybe IC will read this and give her Helena a Ryan. PPS!
