I stifle a laugh- did the greatly sophisticated Helena Peabody just say “ gee thanks “
I do believe she did – well that served her right for the comment about me still having my facilities despite being pregnant.
The four of us chat for five minutes – I have no idea what about only that when Bette and the stunning Professor walk away I feel like I am 16 again. If Bette finds out she’ll kill me

We are both standing in awed silence when Peggy comes across

“Put simply – a genius – is a qualified doctor and lawyer and has an MBA. Used to work for MI5 “
“She was a spy ? “
“Spy is not a word that the British or the Americans use these days darling- lets just say counter espionage “

“And can have any and every woman she wants. I see why Bette has brought her in with various matters coming to a head throughout the world but – in a West Wing full of lesbians it’s a very dangerous strategy – life is not going to be dull with Alana around “

Oh my AllyE, this lady seems to have everyone with their mouths open. How did Bette keep her a secret and especially from Tina, and why did she not at least let her know someone else was being added to the staff. Glad the woman is brunette, love the brunettes. From your description Ms. Alana is some hot stuff that everyone wants. Well, who gets her? Peggy or Helena? PPS

Ally, my dear friend, you always know exactly what to say don’t ya? I found this chapter to be very meaningful, from the spot on feelings Tina is experiencing during her pregnancy, to Leigh’s feelings, the new character, and even something so simple as Bette’s speech was dead on. Very well done, but then again, I would expect nothing less than that given your amazing talent!
“beyond stunning” and brunette? Would Alana be the Angelina Jolie of the L wing? Or maybe a Lucy Lawless? Who do you had in mind when you created this character. You always know how to surprise your readers, and what a surprise that was.
What a wonderful twist to add a sizzling new lesbian star to the West Wing. I love it.
New hottie in town? Cool. Hopefully the underlings will fight over her..and our happy couple will stay that way with baby on board. PPS.
I totally agree with and second Gumby’s comments. I think that this is the first story that there is someone that draws the eye more than Bette, NICE. I hope that Tina’s overactive hormons don’t get the best of her. PPS :o).

ally, you always know when to add an event or a new character when the story is just swimmingly going along. Just a little twist to create tension and interest. Great writing, ally. Always leave’em wanting more!

i smell some drama near… i was thinking that it have been some chapter without it, but is great i want to read how Tina will handle this woman when she feel not so pretty…

HEy Ally, Great to see that Alana has put the cat among the pigeons. Can’t wait to see how this all progresses. With Alana and Helena embark on a torrid affair or will it be the begininng of some more substantial. Will Alana just work her way through the Senior Staff aiming for the ultimate conquest?
