THE OPRAH SHOW — 2 December
OPRAH : Good evening – and today we have a very special guest in a live show. This woman is one of the most beautiful and famous faces in America today. She recently had a baby and suffered from cruel press headlines She is here today to talk about her experiences and how she deals with having a very high profile wife – ladies and gentlemen – welcome to the First Lady Tina Kennard Porter.
Tina walks onto the stage. She is wearing black trousers, a white and light blue stripped shirt and high heel black boots. She shakes hands with Oprah and is greeted by loud applause from the crowd. She sits down and smiles.
OPRAH : Thank you for coming here tonight Madam First Lady
TINA : Please – call me Tina
OPRAH : Thank you – tell me – how old is your daughter now ?”
TINA : She is 12 weeks old today.
OPRAH : Is she with a nanny while you are here or one of your family ?
TINA: When I left she was with my parents but I guess that by now she will be with her mommy – the famous and important one.
OPRAH: And how is her other mommy doing in her new role ?
TINA : She is a total natural. I was sure that Bette would be good at it but she was nervous. As it turns out she is just amazing with her.
OPRAH : My friends who have children tell me that there is always one or two “go to “ adults. The ones who can always calm a baby down – who are Ella’s ?”
TINA: Luckily one of them is Bette – that comes in handy at 4am. I would say that the other two people who just have a knack with her are Helena Peabody – that’s the Vice President’s daughter and she is also Ella’s Godmother and Shane – Bette’s Chief of Staff .

I love seeing Tina battling the hard times and succeeding. This chapter was fun and different. The adopting questions has me wondering what is happening with that whole situation.

A big high five to the great First Lady. This interview will show so many first time mothers the difficult of regaining your figure and sense of worth after having a child.
