Narration of Tina Kennard.
I am woken up by Bette pushing my tee-shirt up and licking my spine – it feels wonderful. I lie still and enjoy what she is doing to me. After a few seconds she moves closer to me and kisses my neck. That I cannot stay still and silent through.
“Oh Bette “
“Hey there babe “
I roll over and she pulls me into her arms and gives me a long and passionate kiss.
“What’s got into you this morning ? “
“Well I know what I’d like to have get into me — some part of your beautiful, perfect anatomy “
Something has definitely changed for Bette and I know it has something to do with when she came running into the kitchen gabbling on about Emily and how she had given us her blessing.
I really thought that Bette had been drinking but she hadn’t and the good mood has lasted through to this morning. Last night we sat and talked about our relationship and what we both want in the future and how the other can help achieve those aims.
Bette is certainly more settled and she is more amorous than she has been since the assassination attempt. We still haven’t made love but we both know that it is close. Last night on the sofa it was only a couple of very ill timed phone calls that stopped us.
Bette had to take the second one in her study and she didn’t get off the phone until I had gone to bed. When she crept in beside me she had spooned up close to me and told me in very graphic detail what she was intending to do to me very soon. Maybe soon has arrived ?

i’m glad they’ve reconnected but i don’t think having helena as chief of stuff for tina is a good thing, they had history and it might hurt B&T in the end
Glad to see B&T are reconnecting well and that Helena has moved on and is happy. I too would like to see more to your other story. Little boy Porter still has to be born and the family has to live happily ever after. =D

Why must we choose, Ally? It’s ok for Tina to go shoppng with Helena, but her chief of staff? Nothing against Helena’s talents, but that much of her being around might rub Bette the wrong way.
What? Didn’t we say another chapter in this weekend for BOTH stories? lol

Wwwweeelllll…isn’t that just cozy, having Helena as her chief of staff. As they say, “Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.” Why do I have the feeling that Helena holds the least little bit of residual resentment and may attempt to bollux up the works when she speaks to mama Kennard?…am I just not trusting enough?…I want to say something about orgasm, and how that fleeting, momentary, transitory state is oh-so-very important to our human existence. I can’t find the words right now, but you certainly captured the exquisiteness of the special moment as well as any have on this site. …About the varied scenarios that our writers have created for B&T: your presidential is quite novel, refreshing! As I read the many stories on this site, I marvel at the many different variations on the Bette and Tina theme. May I quote Zora Neale Hurston concerning love: “…Love is lak de sea. It’s uh movin’ thing, but still and all, it takes its shape from de shore it meets, and it’s different with every shore”…We are all inspired by the original Bette and Tina. I believe the actresses put something of their soul into the characters and the magic remains with us. Thank you for your continuing saga of that sexy, sagacious leader of the free world, President Bette Porter! Sistah-gurl president has got my vote!

It’s funny after I read an update of “The Long and Winding Road” I’m convinced I love that story more, but then I’ll read “The L-Wing” and then I’m convinced that its my favorite…haha either way though I’m always extremely happy when either of them are updated!
