“I know – it must be hell for these couples that don’t work a few metres from each other “
Tina comes across and leans against my desk — she reaches her hand out and strokes my face. I kiss her palm and smile at her. I feel pacified the minute I see her – she has changed me for the better. I pick up my files, throw them into my briefcase and stand up.
“Lets go home honey “
Pausing just to tell James that I am off for the evening Tina and I walk back to our apartment together holding hands.
“How was your day ? “
“Hectic — what about you ? “
“The same — I came to talk to you mid afternoon – where were you ? “
“Something came up “
“What ? “ Tina looks at me
“Sorry Tina — cannot talk about it at the moment”
It is one of the first times in our relationship that Tina has asked me a question that I have had to evade. Tina raises her eyebrow at me.
“Oh — okay then “
“Sorry honey — its just at a delicate stage at the moment. I cannot talk about it “
“Its okay – I understand “
“I will tell you when I am ready honey “
“Bette — really its alright “
We reach the Residence and I go into my study for a few minutes. When I emerge Tina is sitting on the sofa channel hoping. I join her and pull her into my arms – she snuggles against me.
“You look tired sweetheart “
“I am – think I’m coming down with a cold or something “
I touch her brow “ You are pretty hot Tina “
“Would that be hot or hot ? “ she says with a smile
“Sick but still horny – is that what you are telling me Tina ?”
“Yes — is there anything wrong with that ?”
“Not all all “ I kiss her “I will look after you T – that’s what love is about “

ally i was kidding when i suggested alice(would be hilarious though). you were supposed to pick me andy 20 for vp come on. i seriosly have to admit between alice and bush i would vote for alice. why do i live in america again? post soon please so i can c if bette laughs. bette: T did you smoke somethin and not share? how bad is your fever, im taking you to the doctor.alright im done being an idiot. :)

I could see Alice as the VP. Our country could use a little help in the comedy side of life. Not that Alice is not serious but she is just a hoot even in normal terms. I think that she would be an awesome choice. Tina does have a great mind and she fits well with the Cheif. Hope that it is just a cold and not something serious. Also hope that Peggy will come through the surgery and be able to return to her post.
Oh my, Alice is our VP and this is gonna have a lot of fun and going to drive Bette and everybody crazy lol. OK post soon please, thanks!

ohhhhh I’m all cut up cuz I wasn’t first..lmao..but I was first from the southern hemisphere??? yes, I am a type A… still more lmao…but seriously what job is Tina going to have? and don’t you make her get seriously sick, I will never forgive you, maybe she can be a Special Ambassador for the President?? you Top Secret negotiation missions cuz she’s got the experience and credentials to manage that sort of high flying but highly secretive job, she could charm all the overseas diplomats etc posted to Washington, probably have a lot more fun job then Bette has running the world from the oval office…maybe there could be some trouble hotspots that Tina could sneak in and out of e.g. Israel, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Russia etc etc.

Hmm Alice eh? Well I guess that it’s possible that the threat of Alice might make Shane change her mind! Loving the way you keep us wondering what you’re going to write next. This story is still consistently excellent. Oh and agree with your assessment of the state of all things sporty at present.

Alice! No way; what is Tina thinking? Ally-it’s amazing how like your interest are to my own. I’m so excited about Wimbledon starting tomorrow so if you need the 2 weeks off to focus on tennis I’ll understand b/c i’ll be glued to the TV myself. And I’m pulling for Andre as well, though I think he has better chances of winning the US Open.
