Setting: end of season 2 in West Hollywood , Shane’s house.

Shane and Carmen were exhausted as they entered Shane’s house. They had just returned from the hospital from meeting their new addition to the family. Immediately Shane went to the couch, sat down, grabbed the remote and turn on the TV. Carmen just watched her as she moved around her house. A couple of seconds later she moved from her spot and deceived to join the love of her life in the couch. She sat at the other end of the couch and watched TV. They didn’t say anything to each other for an hour. Then Carmen decided to brake the silence by offering Shane something she would not be able to turn down.

Carmen: Shane you want a beer?

Shane: yeah

Carmen got up from the couch and went to the kitchen to get two beers, came back handed one to Shane. But this time a little tired from the space between them sat closer to Shane. Shane took a swig of her beer as did Carmen. Carmen put down her beer on the table, and turned to her right to look at Shane. Shane felt Carmen stare at her, but she didn’t turn to meet her eyes, she just look straight ahead. Carmen was tired of the silence, because ever since last night she has wanted to talked to Shane about those three very important words that Shane told her.

Carmen: Are you mad?

Shane: No, why would I be?

Carmen: I don’t know, it’s just that you have barely said anything and you wont even look at me.

Shane: ……. I don’t feel like talking, I’m tired

Carmen: You know I’m tired too, but I’m not shutting you out!

And with that Carmen stormed out of the room and went into the bedroom slamming the door shut. When Shane realized that she made a mistake, she got up and went to the room. She opened the door and saw Carmen sitting on the bed with her Ipod on listening to music.

Shane: …..Carm?

Carmen didn’t hear Shane. So Shane grabbed one of her headphones and pulled it out. That action made Carmen jump because she didn’t realize that Shane even entered the room.
