Mikela: True, but you have been working the last 6 or 7 weekends prior this one. So will you please do me a favor? Just for today, try to take it easy? For me, please?
Candace: Alright, for you Ill take it easy today. No working.
Mikela: Good. (Places a kiss on Candaces lips then walks out the bedroom) See you later.
Candace lies back down in the bed and tries to go back to sleep.
Two hours later***
After unsuccessfully trying to go back to sleep Candace decides to get up and officially start her day. She makes herself a nice big breakfast along with a cup of her French vanilla gourmet coffee. Usually she is in such a rush in the morning that she has to either settle for the instant ***** that Mikela makes or some high-priced Starbucks coffee. Luckily, today she has the time to brew her own and sit down to enjoy it while reading the paper.
Once she showers and dresses, Candace makes her way to the side entrance of the house where her most prized possession sits, a 1967 Ford Mustang Cobra convertible. This classic car, Coby, was named for its cobalt-blue exterior color and was given to Candace as a graduation present by her uncle Walter. Walter Jewel is the youngest brother of Kevin Jewel, Candaces father, and is still to this day her favorite uncle. Since he was a little boy his fascinations with cars was wildly known amongst his friends and family, so it came as no shock to them that he became a mechanical engineer for Ford and has been in the design division for the Mustang since 1984. His love of Mustangs came from his first car, Coby, which truthfully speaking may have been a little unhealthy. Kevin would always joke that if Walter had to choose between saving his girlfriend or saving Coby, Coby would win, hands down.
Walter got Coby when he graduated from Michigan U. It was his first purchase as a recently employed college graduate. Some of Candaces fondest memories was helping her uncle wash Coby and afterwards taking a ride with him with the top down. Over the years her uncle would own other cars but none of them had a place in his heart like Coby. As Coby got older more maintenance was needed to keep him purring, which Walter had no problem investing in. At some point in its life Coby has had all its major parts either changed or restored, usually by Walter himself. When Candace was old enough she would assist him and over time her love for Coby was just as great as Walters. Still it surprised everyone, including Candace, when her uncle handed her the keys and title of Coby to her as a graduation present.
