Kit replied,

“She in the office taking a nap, I brought in a playpen in the office so she could play and nap while I’m working.”

Bette said,

“Are you sure that’s a safe thing to do?”

Kit waved her off,

“Don’t worry your behind about it; I check up on her a lot. I’m not careless like I use to be. Now let’s get the cake out here and let’s toast to the newly married couple!”  The wedding cake was rolled out and it was beautiful.  The cake had three white layers and on the top layer was two little bride figures in the cake.  Kit and the gang raised their glasses to Bette and Tina who were blushing and beaming from ear to ear.  Kit said,

“Here’s to Mrs. And Mrs. Porter, may they always be the perfect couple that we love and know and to also be happy for the rest of their lives.”  The gang replied in unison,

“To Bette and Tina!!”

Bette began to cut the cake and Alice took a picture of Bette kissing Tina on the lips while cutting the cake.  Then they started feeding each other with their slices of cake while everyone else was slicing pieces for themselves.  Bette and Tina’s faces were smeared with cake and both began to make out again, make their faces more smeared with cake and frosting.  Again, Alice interrupted them by clicking on her wine glass with her fork and exclaimed,

“Come ladies, this isn’t an x-rated club!”

Bette and Tina stopped kissing and Bette laughed,

“Can I help it if I’m more in love with my wife then ever?”

            For the next hour an a half, Bette and Tina chatted with everyone there, but their eyes always managed to meet one another, filled with intense fire, desire, passion and love.  Peggy Peabody was there and approached both Bette and Tina.  Peggy smiled at them and replied,

“You two are a wonderful couple and the best of everything.”

Bette smiled back at Peggy and replied,

“Thank you, Peggy. That’s very sweet of you.” 

Peggy responded,

“By the way I’ve heard you kicked my daughter’s ass, thank you!”  Bette and Tina tried hard not laugh after Peggy said this.  Peggy responded,
