Bette was walking out of her class when her phone rang, she smiled answering “Missed me already?”
“Yes I did” Bette heard Tina’s distraught voice.
“Tee?”
Tina sighed “I’m so screwed Bette”
“What’s wrong babe?” Bette asked.
“My project got deleted!” Tina said trying not to cry.
“Shit! Everything?”
“I still have the raw footage but everything I did! This needs to be finished in two day! I worked for weeks on that!”
“Tee… calm down. Go back to the editing room and try to start over, I’ll come and help you”
“I can’t!” Tina said annoyed then sighed “Someone else booked the room and they need to submit the project too.”
“Where are you?” Bette asked gathering her things.
“I needed to breath so I’m out in front of my building…”
“Ok, get your raw footage I’ll be right there, ok?”
“Why?”
“Because”
“Because what?”
“Don’t start with me” Bette smiled walking outside “Be right there.”
Bette saw Tina sitting on the stairs her head in her hands. “Hi babe”
Tina looked up managing a small smile “Hi”
“Come on” Bette said taking the bag next to Tina.
“Where?”
“It’s a surprise” Bette smiled walking away.
“Bette I need to figure this out! I can’t just go…”
“Trust me” Bette said taking Tina’s hand.
Tina sighed getting in the car. “It will be just a minute” Bette said driving.
“Here” She pointed at the building.
“What’s here?” Tina asked getting out.
Bette took her hand leading her inside. “I called in some favors my friend works here it’s a small studio but they have an editing room and it’s yours until tomorrow evening.” Bette smiled opening the door “I hope you have what you need here”
“Bette… are you serious?” Tina whispered looking around “Oh my good! This place equipment is much more advanced!”
“That’s good right?” Bette asked.
Tina jumped her hugging her tight “Thank you thank you thank you!” Tina kissed her face “You saved my ass!”
Bette squeezed Tina’s ass “It’s worth saving” She winked. “Come lets get to work”
“We?”
“I’ll help you with what I can. I figured I’ll upload the footage so you can concentrate on editing.”
