2 A.M. Three Months Later:

Bette rolled over and saw the moonlight pierce through Tina’s windows.  Looking down at her love rolled up into her body, Bette felt an inner peace that relaxed all of her pain and anxiety.  She opened her heart, closed her eyes and filled her lungs with the seductive smell of Tina’s hair.  Love is growing and Bette’s heart had to make space for it.  She put aside her life, her habits and her issues to spend her nights in bliss and her mornings enchanted with her young lover.  Four days before the end of the project Bette was crazy with worry.  She had no idea what to do after the time was over. Their project ending soon and Bette hoped her relationship wouldn’t end with it. 

Bette stroking Tina’s hair:  T are you awake baby?

Tina: Hmmm, Hi.

Bette: Hi.

Tina: Baby everything will be okay, you just have to breathe.

Bette: Huh?

When Bette looked over she saw Tina wasn’t awake she was talking in her sleep.  It was enough.  Bette knew this unpredictable romance was for real.  She wanted Tina to be in her life forever and she realized she had to find a way to be a part of Tina’s life.  Their relationship was worth every sacrifice.  Bette had the time of her life with Tina and wouldn’t give it up for anything.

Bette softly whispers: Baby I love you.

Six hours later:

Bette wakes up to the aroma of eggs, bacon and a hint of coffee filling the air.  She opened her eyes and looked over to find Tina’s spot empty.  Bette went to the bathroom, brushed her teeth and washed her face.  When she emerged she looked refreshed and ready to find her love.  As she walked out into the kitchen, Bette saw Tina deep in concentration hovering over the stove.  Bette walked up behind Tina and placed her hands on Tina’s shoulders lightly kissing the back of her neck.  Bette outlined Tina’s neck and back with her fingers, when she got to her waist she lightly touched the side of her hips moving slowly towards her stomach. Bette clasped her hands in front of Tina and started moving upward.  Tina dropped her spatula and turned off the stove.
