    Chapter 43 – Heroin Sheik

    Chapter 43

    Neither one of us know what to do…..there may not be another way to your heart, so I guess I better find a new way in…I shiver when I hear your name, I think about you but its not the same..I wont be satisfied til Im under your skin ~Shiver~ Maroon 5

    Tina quickly opened the door and caught Shane at the last second as she fell back into the house. Luckily, she was already sitting on the porch, or she would have knocked Tina over completely.

    Tina: Oh my God Shane!…..Shane!

    Tina held Shane in her arms and panicked when she saw the blood pouring from Shanes nose. The wife beater was torn and bloodied down the chest. Shanes hands were scraped and rapidly bruising. Her right hand was swollen and sitting at an odd angle.

    Tina: BETTE!…Bette, come quick its Shane!

    Bette stood pouring champagne for the two of them, but dropped the glasses when she heard Tinas frantic scream. She ran to the front door to see Shanes head cradled in Tinas lap.

    She covered her mouth and held back her dry heaves when Shane held up her right hand that had a bone protruding from the wrist. She held her hand in the direction of the door and opened her eyes slightly.

    Shane: Dash…

    Shane lost consciousness and went limp in Tinas lap.

    Tina: Oh my God….Shane…Shane?

    Tina shook her gently at first but became more persistent when she wouldnt rouse. She looked up at Bette with fear in her eyes waiting for her to come up with an answer.

    Bette: What the ***** is going on?

    Tina: I dont know…thats all she said…I know Dash is next door….I checked on her before…Oh God shes sick, but whys Shane ….

    Bette: Tina calm down….Just stay here and try to wake her up….Ill go check on Dash.

    Bette leapt over Shane before waiting for a response. She sprinted next door and took the steps in a single bound.

    Bette: *****!

    Bette collided with the luggage on the steps and fell into the house, where the front door was left open. Achilles greeted her upon her landing whimpering loudly while pacing back and forth. The dog let out a yelp and scampered back and forth gesturing towards the back hall. Bette came to her feet and followed the whining dog cautiously. She had no idea what to expect and tried to prepare herself for anything.

    1. Thanx so much for posting, even though it’s late. I’m glad Shane and Van are at least talking and that Dash seems to be getting better…. can’t wait to see what happens next! ;)

    3. I glad you are back. I hope the week with your sister wasn’t too bad. Well I have to say the chapter are getting better and better as they progress. The relationship between Shane and Van is very interesting, I hope we get to learn more about their backstory. I have to admit I’m starting to miss the Alice/Shane aspect of the story but without the other dimensions the chapters wouldn’t be as captivating. Thus, continue to write the story as you feel right because I’m never disappointed with the chapters.

    4. Awesome once again..even though you posted late..its great…glad the girls are ok and shane needs to take care of herself and go to ALICE…she needs her …!!

    11. Good to see you again, excellent chapter, Shane and Dash scare the hell of me but thank god Van come help them right on that time. Bette and Tina have a crazy night and they happy about it. Shan and Dash seem to be ok, good that Shane and Van have a talk and hope he will take care of her. Anyway you are excellent writer and the story is awesome, love it.
