Shane: Sorry to cut it short guys but I have a really long action packed day filled with inventory at Lather.

Dash groaned and let her head hit the table.

Shane: Don’t worry about it you have class anyway, I’ll drop you off on the way and do it myself.

Dash: But its only seven thirty.

Tina: Hey Shane don’t sweat it, I’ll drop her off on my way in.

Shane: Thanks Tina.

Van: Hold up Shane, I’ll walk you out, I just got paged.

Van reached into his back pocket and pulled out a fat wad of hundred dollar bills.

Shane: No sweat Van breakfast is on me guys.

Shane placed her wad on the table and peeled off a hundred with her left hand and handed it to Dash. The two collected their things and walked out saying goodbye to everyone while Dana whispered to Lara who just shrugged and kissed her on the cheek.

Dana: Did anyone notice the wads of cash those two just pulled out?

Dash looked back and forth and then sunk down in her seat.

Alice: Dane what’s the deal?

Dana: The deal is every time she pulls out money she’s got loads of it lately… and now her like…I don’t know ‘brother one day-not the brother the next’ has a pocket full of hundreds too.

Bette: Ladies… How about we stay out of things we know nothing about, and stop talking behind her back

Dana: Whatever, I have to get to practice…baby you coming with?

Lara nodded and got up to leave.

Lara: Bye guys see you later.

Lara and Dana walked out holding hands while Bette watched Alice pick over her food while tapping her foot non-stop under the table. Tina finished up with her phone call and placed it in her bag before tapping Dash on the shoulder. Dash stopped checking out the guy sitting at a far table and nodded her head.

Dash: See you later guys, Tina’s dropping me off….Al don’t forget about tomorrow.
