    Ch6

     

    Hotel Room

     

    “Mum, yes, we are coming tomorrow.  She will love you food, mum.  Don’t worry…  ok, see you tomorrow.  Bye.”  I put the phone down.

     

    “Cat, are you still ok to stay in LA until Monday?” I shout into the bedroom.

     

    “What day is today?” She shouts out.

     

    “Friday.”

     

    “Shit, I have an underwear shoot this afternoon. Yes, I am staying until Monday. My interview with W magazine in New York is not until Tuesday. Why did you ask?”  She comes out of the bedroom to sit next to me on the couch.

     

    “Cuz I need a favour…”  I grin cheekily.

     

    “Come on spill it.”

     

    “You know, Sunday is a traditional family day.  I am thinking about having our version of ‘meet the parents’…” I give her a puppy dog eyes look.

     

    “That’s a huge favour indeed…  Make sure the actors take out all the dramas though.  I don’t want to burn down your mum’s house just yet.”  She laughs.

     

    “Thank you!  My family is going to love you!”  I hug her happily.

     

    “I hope so.” She doesn’t sound so convinced.

     

    “I know so, because I have exquisite taste.” I grin at her confidently.  

     

    “Do you want to have a quiet dinner and watch a movie tonight?”  She suggests.

     

    “Sure, anything you want.”  I smile.

    Paige’s House

     

    Shane is leaning against the kitchen door, watching Paige busy making packed lunches for Shay and Jared. 

     

    “Are you just going to stand there and do nothing?”  Paige teases me.

     

    “I like my view here.”  I shrug.

     

    “Hurry up kids, we are late!  Get down here when you are ready!” She shouts.

     

    “Coming mum!”  Jared replies.

     

    “It’s your fault that we are late, you know!  If you hadn’t been so dirty…”  She lowers her voice.  I stole a kiss from her before she finishes the packed lunches and put them into the boys’ school bags.

     

    “What are you doing today?”  She asks me.

     

    “Well, cut hair this morning then I have this photo shoot thing this afternoon.”

     

    “So the whole town will get to see you in your underwear again? This will sure piss some the other parents off! I am loving it though!” She smirks.

    2. ok wow heated or what, thanx for the update it was great, and im glad you agree that it si hard to see carmen with anyone else but shane so pleseeeee dont make me wait any longer i mena who are they kidding, please please let them make up i cant do this …great post though and wonderful writing, cat is a great person but shes not shane….
