Chapter 45

“So – what do you want to do tonight T? I mean – besides the usual?” Bette shot a sideways glance at Tina. Then she delivered the infamous wink!

“Gee – I don’t know Babe! I guess as long as we get the usual in later – I’m up for just about anything else.”

“Ok – why don’t we watch that ***** chic show on the cable network.” Bette picked up the remote and flicked the channel.

“Sounds like a plan to me! You know – all of those women are so gorgeous – they are just way too hot Babe!”

“Yeah T – you’re absolutely right – they are totally hot!”

Bette and Tina settled in on the couch. While Bette sat – Tina rested her head in Bette’s lap.

Tina couldn’t help but comment, “Now what the ***** is up with that little skinny one from the Mid -West. I mean she’s cute and all – but does she really have to sleep with everything and anything that walks? I just don’t know about these writers Bette! Sometimes I think I could write a better story. I mean – fine if your bi – but jeez – doing a guy and a girl at the same time and then playing board games with the two of them until they fall asleep? Boy that’s REALLY realistic – isn’t it?”

“I bet you could write a better story T. HMMMMMM! Now that one there – the one who has the cafe – now she is exotically HOT! You know – they aren’t renewing her contract. Are they insane? Do you know how many women would give anything to jump her bones – much less just look at her?”

“Are you serious – they aren’t renewing her contract? That’s fucked up! God Bette – they could have done so much with that character – but no – they just kind of let her shrivel up and die. After they made her do evil things to the little farmer’s daughter there – the one from the Mid-West – they just kind of tossed her aside. I could have come up with a great storyline for her. Man- the mileage you could get out of her beauty alone. Man – she is so beautiful. I bet alot of women are really pissed that she’s not coming back.”

Bette started this time. “Ok – now the guy. They always said – don’t forget the guy. They’re writing him out too. Guess we should have forgotten the GUY after all. I kind of liked him. And that little skinny one – man did she take him for a ride! Poor guy – such a good heart. And what does he get – his girlfriend sleeps with the exotic hotty at his house – then they get married – then the little skinny thing does bad drugs with some tweeked out teenagers – she comes home days later and expects him to be happy she’s home. Absolute insanity I tell you. “

“Ok -the athlete. Now what the ***** is up with her? Jake has better judgement!” Tina shook her head. “She is adorable. But what the ***** was the deal with blowing off that cute chef thing and getting engaged to that psycho ***** from ***** – who killed her cat – by the way. Now that’s believable – ‘You just killed my cat – will you marry me?’ Yeah boy that happens every day now doesn’t it? If they make her get together with that bi funny one I’m gonna die.”

Bette shook her head. “Yeah – I love you – I love you – don’t marry the psycho ***** from ***** – be mine- until I decide to have uncomplicated boy-girl ***** with some guy who thinks he’s a *****. Alrighty then.”

Bette laughed. Tina continued – “Ok the hairdresser! Cute – but boy what a funky do she has huh? Now most lesbians know that you never get very far with married women with rich husbands. Poor thing – just misguided – too vulnerable!”

Tina sighed. “Ok -then we have the committed couple.”

Bette sighed. “Ah T – let’s not go there ok?”

“Ok Babe!”

“Tina – I do have one thing I need to say about them. You would think that the ***** dark haired one would be counting her blessings right about now. She’s got that adorable little blond by her side – who loves her more than life itself. She gets caught once. You’d think she’d learn – why even consider doing it again? I just don’t understand.”

“Baby – I don’t get it either.”
